Had a very good one night stay at the Kompass hotel. Room was good with an adequate size for our family. Breakfast was good with sufficient choice. Parking a bit complicated with EasyPark Park but got it figured out after a few minutes. Easy walk to downtown. A place to recommend if you are heading that way.

Very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly and wonderful hospitality. Breakfast is good and adequate assortment of breads and beverages.

Property was in a good location with many restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was extensive it had scrambled eggs and bacon daily as well as cheese, meat and danish options. Many hot and cold beverage options. Room was clean with necessary furniture. No refrigerator provided.

Noise in the room from air duct kept me awake. They gave me a new room no problem.

It is a very good hotel in a safe area within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The room and facilities are excellent. All the hotel personnel are professional and friendly.

Location was excellent. It was a surprise to find out that the hotel is non-profit. Convenient to grocery store and shopping. Parking available. Near the water.

Services in general ok ….food acceptable , people serving food very serios faces compared to people working in reception and those cleaning our room … . Size of the room tiny compared with what they show online and for the price …. Noise a bit to much … Hand soap mixed with water … I would rate our experience staying at this hotel as 6 or 7 . Good location. Spacious and bright room - view wasn’t exciting but an overall great value hotel with decent breakfast.

Summary. Great Affordable Hotel Better for Short Stays.----------Pros: Modern mid-range hotel within easy walking distance to dining, shopping, and historic district. Staff was particularly friendly and helpful and recognized our Orbitz VIP status with two complimentary glasses of wine. spacious and quick elevator made moving luggage to room an easy process. Great WIFI allowed easy upload of hundreds of pictures and stream movie simultaneously via hotel-provided Chromecast. Ample electrical outlets for charging. Best shower of any of the ten accommodations we stayed at in Denmark - great water pressure and temp and completely glassed off from rest of bathroom. Ample paid parking available on site. Great hot and cold buffet breakfast. The optional 11AM late checkout was very convenient.----------Cons: Room is small with no real dedicated closet or drawer space to hang clothes or layout luggage and it not be in the way. Bed was not comfortable, which led to back pains in morning. Restaurant did not serve lunch or dinner. Better for a short vice long stay.
