I stayed in room 202. Initially, I was surprised when the receptionist told me I'd been upgraded. But after entering the room, I found it looked like it needed some work. The lighting was dim, the furniture was broken, the personal safe didn't work, and I couldn't even try the TV. If the linens, pillows, and sheets could talk, they'd probably say, "Please upgrade us, we're very tired." The linens were very thin and torn, the AC was noisy and not cooling, and it smelled of cigarette smoke. Since I arrived late at night and was tired, I decided to stay the night. Besides, the rooms seemed to be full because of the Surabaya Marathon.
The bathroom was clean.
The staff, especially the security guard, were very friendly.
The location is strategically located in the city center.
Hopefully, it will be repaired soon and even better.
