the hotel n room's decor were as nice as how i saw it on the pic. lots of natural light comes in. as for the room functionality itself, the floor was a bit tilted, the bathroom door made some squeaky sound, n temperature of hot water was not consistent (suddenly water temp dropped for no reason). the hotel is on the busy street, so some noises coming from cars in motorcycles going thru the street. the breakfast supposed to be served from 8am to 10am. i checked google, n AI review showed that serving until 11am, so i went down at 10:03am, n kitchen told me it ended at 10am. wish they could be more flexible enough to get me bf. i was late just by 3min. the hotel description stated they have parking site, but they only have 5 parking lot, n first come first served, so be aware.

Absolutely love it here. The Peranakan decorations are stunning. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious, clean and comfortable. It's very convenient as the hotel is located at Jonker street, which is all I want to visit in Melaka. I will definitely come back. I just wish they have vegetarian option for breakfast.

Aava has a classic and unique design in every corner of the hotel. But for the room the room is too ordinary like a hotel in general. It should be even more classic like the theme of the lobby and restaurant rooms. Nasi lemak for breakfast is also delicious. There are also many breakfast choices. They have a location that is close to crowds and entertainment facilities, as well as halal food places. They also provide bicycles for free use for 2 hours for hotel guests. I think I will come back here if I go to Malacca again 🫶

The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and instagramable really. to the jonker night market near about 200m but to the center of the red building is pretty miserable 400-500m walk. so far good for family. It's a shame there's no restaurant to order food ..
