Their staff are unfriendly and refuse to communicate in English, they only want to speak in Malay. The water pressure was very very very very bad. There is no waste bin in the room. Only 1 lift is working The carpet along the rooms was smelly They provide 3-in-1 coffee and tea but there is not hot flask in the room to boil water. The only thing I can give them good review is their Aircon is very cold

Not suggested for now. The room is bad. I stayed at level 7. My first impression was like an abandoned building. The atmosphere felt kinda creepy. The floor full of spots. Kind of creepy. The room was bad. Floor full of hair. Toilet was not cleaned properly. Towel was worn out. Since we tiredly arrived there quite late at night, we didn't want to make a fuss and just stayed there. However the location was attractive and the view from the room was nice. Can see river and town.

Housekeeping only use broom to clean instead of using vacuum cleaner. My room is so dusty. I book for 2 nights and there was none housekeeping staff cleaning my room during my 2nd day staying here. Other than that, I think that overall the hotel is worth the money but so much area can be improved!

Beautiful view near the tourist area of Melaka River. Not too far from Jonker Street and Red Square.

1. After 11pm no reception and no guard (although their said will be but i didn't see for once). 2. The hotel lobby look clean but then room corridor from the lift lobby is very dirty and unpleasant with all the dirty towel laying down 3. I booked for 2 nights, the 2nd day their didn't clean up my room or change the towel or throw rubbish despite i told them (at reception where 1 malay guy, 1 indian lady and 2 malay lady was seating all together at counter and the guy asked my room no and acknowledged my request to make my room before went out for the day and return at 11pm plus to shocking. i finished up 2 bottle of water their gave for day 1 and that night i had to go out and buy water for myself. aside from the location and lobby look, everything else is worst.

Recommended hotel if you go to Malacca. The location is right on the riverbank, not far from Jonker Street.

It's an old hotel, but it's alright. Near and within walking distance to where we want to go.

Pro: The look very spacious compare with other hotel. I can get 2 and a half times smaller space if I book with other hotel with the same price. The hotel is very clean and easy to access. If you want to walk around during night at Malacca, nearby Malacca River it is one of the strategic hotel can be choose especially if you want to find Halal food. Cons: Does not provide hair dryer. The iron room quite messy and need to be proper arrange.

The hotel is good for the price, beautiful river view. But breakfast is only suitable for Malaysians, very difficult to eat.

Overall okay, just that air condition needs service as its centralised air-conditioned room and we books three rooms all have the same not cool enough problem which we had several attempts of adjusting the temperature in our room and it's still not many differences. Cleanliness needs improvement as well. The headboard in my room has a small wooden patch that has come off and might end up hurting yourself if do not notice.
