Most beautiful location. Blue sea, white beach, a lot of coral and fish.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and has a really nice view. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. I hope this continues. The only downside is that the road to get there is quite difficult, the road is small and not all of it is in good condition.

It's far from the city. It takes 30 minutes by motorbike to get there. The ocean and sunset are totally worth it!

The location is quite far from the town square, you have to pass through the mangrove forest area. The signal is very difficult, but there is wifi so it's safe. The view is no need to ask, there is a private beach, infinity pool, it's really great. When I came here there were only 2 guests so breakfast was not AYCE but we were offered to choose any menu. I also ate here in the evening and everything was delicious. The staff are all very friendly, I asked for a happy birthday message and they also gave it for free. No complaints at all, I want to come back again, Thank youu🫶🏻

If you're visiting Karimunjawa, we recommend sleeping here; the view is stunning. For a staycation, you can daydream by the beach, or even swim. Avoid staying here during a sea tour, as it's a shame to stay there all day, as the location is a bit remote. The WiFi is spotty, and the hot water isn't warm enough.

The location is okay, but the Royal Hotel is the furthest from the city center compared to the other hotels, so it's a bit difficult to find food after 9 p.m., so you have to bring instant noodles or other snacks as the restaurant is closed. When the hotel is full, the hot water doesn't work because everyone is probably using it. The Wi-Fi is good, the food is quite varied, and the staff is friendly. And the most impressive thing is the view behind the hotel.

The facilities and services are not as good as before or on YT, the view is indeed very good, but there are many similar ones in Karimun.

It was very impressive staying at Royal Ocean. The view is cool, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious. Starting from dinner & breakfast, all the menus are delicious. If I have the chance to go to Karimunjawa again, I want to go back to Royal Ocean.

It’s 40 minutes driving from the hotel to the city center (Alun-Alun), total around 1.5 hours just for the trip. The road was also bumpy, lots of potholes. At the time we stayed, the hotel was doing renovation, our room was kinda old, the glass window cracked, marks of water leaked on walls and ceiling. This resort actually has so much potential but they need to finish that renovation soon if they want to make guests comfortable. Thankfully, all crews were very kind and helpful.

The place is comfortable, even though it is far from the Karimun square, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious, next time I go to Karimun I will definitely stay here.

I stayed at the Royal Ocean Karimunjawa Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights and unfortunately this experience was far from expectations, especially when compared to the price we paid. The most disappointing thing was the lack of hot water during our stay. In fact, this facility should be standard in hotels with this price. After a day of activities outside, we certainly hope to be able to take a comfortable shower, but we couldn't enjoy it. In addition, the drinking water in the room was never refilled during the stay. For a stay duration of more than one night, this should be a basic concern of the hotel. The food menu was also very disappointing. It did not match what was promised and the quality was less than satisfactory. The menu variations were very minimal and the taste was not comparable to the cost we had spent for the stay package. Overall, this experience made us quite disappointed. The location is indeed good, but the service and facilities obtained are not comparable to the price and expectations. Hopefully in the future the hotel can pay more attention to basic things like this to improve guest comfort.

Internet and signal are completely non-existent there, any card. Assisted by wifi but wifi was disrupted from noon to morning. It was very obstructive and detrimental. Because there was work so had to go to the cafe next door which was very pricy. Wanted to go down to the village but access was still very dark did not dare.
