No Parking on site. No help with luggage up stairs, rooms accessible via door marked toilets at back of bar.Had to leave a £50 credit card deposit in case we had to use the bar,not exactly 5star!!! Room was dusty above eye level,no information booklets in room,no telephone to reception, shower did not drain well and flooded bathroom floor, loud music from bar past 11pm.If the Company regard this as five star. they are deluded beyond belief This is an average pub with a few rooms and a lack of facilities and is a bit tacky.

Lovely room, location good. However a very busy pub, full every night, which resulted in busy staff and noise from the bar until 10pm. Good to see a busy pub, but this isnt always helpful if you're early to bed!

Oldy-worldy charm in a converted attic, complete with a copper tub (separate from the bathroom). The only (minor) downside is the narrow, steep staircase to two of the rooms which might be troublesome for some people. Excellent 5-star breakfast.

Stayed in building opposite the pub, the room was very small and in need of a little TLC. Food in the Joiners was very good, the parking is very limited with only four spaces, there is a free car park nearby. Only stayed for one night so not to much of an inconvenience...

A real gem. I had the Till room. A double with single bunks. A beautiful room with charm and all the comforts you need.

Hotel was fab. Very clean and food was good. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Downside was parking on site was very limited. Would stay again if we were in that part of the world once more.

Unfortunately the Shepherds hut we stayed in was right next to the pub car park (sone might say actually in the car park) meaning we were woken at 5.20 a.m when deliveries were being made and then again at 7 a.m when staff were chatting in the car park. The cabin was very basic, lacked attention to detail or any nice personal touches as well as being very dark and gloomy. Outside furniture was weathered and not attractive. Shower was great, breakfast good but other than that it was very expensive for what you get. The food in the evening wasn’t great either. Overall I would not recommend at all.

Bedrooms was well presented, Beds was clean and comfy but the bathroom sink was impractical. The Breakfast was prepared and sereved tepid at best. Cant judge the evening meals as the wouldnt serve you unless you was booked in to the restaurant.
