We stayed in a 2-bedroom executive suite: spacious, comfortable bed, balcony overlooking the bamboo grove (we chose the corner room), very comfortable, and quiet. Although next door was a sort of cleaning shed, there was no noise. There was complimentary mineral water, chocolate, and a kettle for making coffee and tea (great for chatting on the balcony after waking up in the morning). The complimentary breakfast was varied and delicious.
The hotel has a quiet atmosphere, is close to town, and the security guard, who also helped with parking, was very kind in finding a parking spot (since we rented a car).
We tried room service, which was delicious, and the service for the trainee children was adequate.
The bathroom was clean, the plumbing worked well, the water flowed fast, the hot water was smooth, and the AC was quite cold.
We appreciated the early check-in attempt, as the train departed at 9 a.m., and rooms were naturally not yet available. When we wanted to leave, the manager (sorry, I forgot his name) greeted us and attempted to arrange an early check-in by offering us two rooms in the corner. And we liked the room, so we could check in, shower, and have breakfast with room service. Thank you, kind manager.
One criticism: Inside the closet and behind the door, there's powder from termite infestation. So the cleaning staff needs to check frequently, because even after cleaning, the powder termite activity hasn't stopped. In the next room, where our aunt lives, termites entered even though the door was locked. It turns out the door wasn't securely locked. With the rainy season, gardens are indeed vulnerable to termites.
