Horrible, sucio, el que estaba en la recepción con una actitud muy despota, olía horrible a insecticida, seguramente habían fumigado algunas habitaciones con problemas de insectos o chinches, instalciones muy viejas, colchones que parecen piedras, muy incomodos, el peor hotel que he visitado y lo malo es que me guié por la calificación que tiene en hoteles.com segun ustedes muy bueno con 8.6 y la verdad se merece un 3 o 4, sean sinceros, por que ya no podremos confiar en las calificaciones que ponen

It was better than we expected! Rooms are very spacious and clean. Mercado Juarez is literally walking distance. Staff was very welcoming, Hotel Ritz will now be our place to stay when visiting Matamoros!

This is a very old hotel however it is very well maintained and really enjoyed my stay. No coffee available to enjoy this nice hotel. The price is perfect and really enjoyed my stay. Complimentary breakfast was awesome and very filling.

Muy limpio todo, la vibra muy bonita. A 5 minutos caminando hacia el consulado, el desayuno algo basico pero lo compensa por lo bien que te tratan y lo rico que esta. Si tengo que volver a Matamoros 100 veces, 100 veces me quedo en este hotel

Beds were hard to sleep on. Cleaning lady took my blanket and sheets. I was only left with a small blanket. It was cold and then it would get hot on and off. No coffee pot and no iron or board.

The staff was very helpful. We know very little Spanish so we used our smart phone to communicate our few needs. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly. They saved a necklace/ earring set for us, because we needed to get the cash to pay for it. We really appreciated this kind gesture. We were very impressed because our daytime destinations had a lot of insects, however this hotel had absolutely none. Very clean!!!

Sorry nothing good to say only 1 night stay

We have a problem on the AC system for like 5 hours, but they fixed, all the areas are clean, but please put more attention on cleaning the bathroom, the sower smell some times is really bad

The shower was leaking

I was there because my daughter was having surgery and the restaurant would not allow for us to get our paid breakfast (that comes with the package) to go. My daughter was unable to sit for long periods of time and had to lay so there was no way I could get her downstairs and across the street to eat.

Front desk people were not nice at first. They later improved. The lobby smelled of
