Farm-style doors in the bathroom for the toilet were broken. One of the doors was off the track, which we reported to the building, but no one came to assist so we forced it back onto the track as best we could ourselves. The coat hooks used to hang the hair dryer and steamer bags weren't actually mounted to the wall, but rather were simply hanging loose in the drywall.
My partner and I were hungry and went to check out the restaurant in the hotel. Stood for several minutes before the host came over and was noticeably short/abrupt, didn't apologize for the wait and instead asked if we had a reservation for the empty restaurant. Food was OK, service was inexplicably slow for there only being 2 other tables of guests by the time we finished and we had to remind the server for the discount for staying there.
We were out on our balcony in the evening and noticed that the room next to ours was getting renovated. To our surprise, work started on that room first thing in the morning. We were woken up by the crew hauling in their equipment around 7:00am and could not get back to sleep over the sound of power tools, hammering, etc.
I would highly recommend against staying at this location, especially given the rate we were charged for a very disappointing room and even worse experience. When I shared these concerns, I was informed that they were "shared with our engineering and operations teams to ensure these matters are addressed immediately." Crickets.
