Hotel is in a good location but the rooms could desperately do with an upgrade. Generally clean but looks as though no maintenance has been done since it was built. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly

The facilities are looking rather tired so it could do with a refurbishment but the sea location. Is excellent and the food was very well prepared by the pool. Salad was lovely & Chinese better then many restaurants... gym was ok but decor and garden could do with a facelift. Popular on Sunday with local people

Charge me 50$ for 2 hours early

Finishing quality not so good, a/c broke and was not fixed when first reported had to report second time which led to switching rooms, when booking it was indicated that I will have beach front view but did not get it and when asked they said the info on hotels.com was not accurate. Staff were friendly and nice.

Very disappointed. Must have been an amazing hotel 10-15 years ago but now in a terrible state of repair. Reception area lovely but elsewhere tired with broken tiles and furniture and lack of upkeep. Food, when available, was. Good but service in some areas very slow. Staff very kind and friendly and made the stay okay overall.

Rooms were in pathetic condition. Staff were extremely useless when it came time to helping. I would never stay here again.

The room had study table but no chair, woken up early that are collecting towels . And their customer's service is VERY popr.

This property is very scenic and staff is very helpful. A large area kept very clean and maintained. Pool is very well located and garden is nice. Breakfast is good with changing items daily. The property has two issues. The WiFi is not good in the rooms and is not reliable overall. The sound of room air conditioning in the room is on higher side.

Staying at the Golden Tulip was fantastic. Historic charm, delightful staff, delicious food. It is an old hotel that was much more grand in yesterday year. While aged, it could use a few upgrades (my bed was a bit lumpy) but all in all, charming and convenient and well worth the price.

Very picturesque and friendly staff except 1 poolside staff member who felt who should not be there.

It was good experience, i like how considerate and accommodating the staffs are. I would go back there again, if i happen to visit Dar es salaam in the future.

Very nice ocean view but the property seems bit old.

They should replace the bathtub not safe for the elderly and aged. Have lifts that one can use to access the second floor. They should not be overwhelmed to serve clients during breakfast when they are hosting a big crowd, ensure that plates and cutlery are in constant supply.

A good location for vacation travelers. Good value for the cost. No access to the beach.
