This was the worst room we have stayed in-ever. It was NOT clean. There was hair and dirt all over the bed along with the stains. The lamp was rusty and dusty. The chain on the door didnt work. Dirty floors. My kids were scared to sleep there and my husband and I weren't far from it. I would never recommend staying here for anyone! There was no staff there at night.

The motel was clean but it is old and needs updating.

This place is nasty as H*LL. The only thing clean in the room was the beds. Floors were disgusting, food all over from previous people, someone’s tooth brush was still in the room. Dust bunnies floating around. Bathroom was disgusting, hair in the tub drain and toilet looked like it was never cleaned. Don’t let the booking pictures fool you!

It was good for the price of the place

I couldn't check into the property because they didn't have my prepaid reservation I made through Expedia. After 25 minutes of talking with the staff and Expedia's web portal, I was finally given a room. (The problem was with the motel, not Expedia.) I was given a room where the three guests in the next room over were loudly partying outside their room drinking beer and smoking. I asked to be moved and they eventually accommodated me. Two nights later, I had another guest sitting outside his room 2 doors down from mine while listening to power ballads on a boombox for hours. The hotel eventually asked him to quiet down without me complaining. At 10 pm that night, someone in the parking lot ran an impact wrench for 15 minutes. If you want a quiet place - do not stay here.

Staff was very friendly, but this facility was deplorable. There was no hot water and a number of items were broken. Room was clearly never dusted and there was a small draft in the door.

for us it was a clean comfortable place to spend the night not a lot of options in town but good for an older place absolutely no problems

Didnt get to stay so all 1 star as they had no booking recorded for us. 1 stars as unsure whether blame os down to hotel or hotels.com. Had to go find another place to stay at 6pm at night.

Very Clean. Bed comfort was ok. Sheets very clean. AC worked very well. Bathroom had a pink tub that’s how old it was but it was clean, water pressure was good, water was hot. Vanity was very small. Would have loved to have a table in the room. Customer service was very good. People were friendly.

Roger was especially friendly and helpful

The only redeeming quality of this motel is that the room was very clean.

Overall the location wasn’t bad everything was close but the only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the rooms they seem a little bit outdated.

No coffee maker in room, too few towels

Royal Inn was convenient to where I needed to be to meet my friends from TN. I was pleasantly impressed that it was managed by a family. The manager did a great job of greeting me and offering assistance if needed during my entire stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay there again.

The fridge froze all our food so we couldn't eat it. I wish there were a table in our room. Otherwise, it was updated and decent

Inside room was super clean and has been recently remodeled. Next redo outside and clean up used ashtrays and cig butts. Oh and get tvs that work or better directions how to make them work. Have cleaners take old coffee out of coffee maker that was gross

It's a clean room with a hot shower and it's cheap. Perfect place to stay after a day in Big South Fork.

Owner is friendly. Felt like home
