My room had a horrible sewer smell, but they refused to change it, saying it was a problem they had already solved. It was never solved, and it got worse every day. Additionally, we were without air conditioning for a day and a half on two floors. They told us the technician wasn't responding, so we had to wait. In short, an experience I wouldn't wish on any tourist.

Lovely hotel in the middle of Milan. Easy access to all sites. Exceptionally clean and very friendly staff. Only downside was that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

I went to Milan with my 3 sons and we had a very good time in Matilde hotel. It has an Excellent service, great amenities and very nice breakfast. The location couldn't be better. The girls at the reception are super helpful. It is noisy because of a tram, but everything else is amazing.!!!

This is a lovely, charming hotel less than 5 minutes from the Duomo. The staff is very sweet. We liked it and would definitely return!

I stayed at Matilda hotel with my sons. It was lovely and very well located. I loved the decoration, the amenities and above all the good service of the girls at the reception especially Omema. Super kind and helpful. Beautiful details. A little bit noisy at nights because of the tram, but there is nothing to do overall it was amazing.

Our room was ready early which was wonderful because we arrived a bit early and having a noon checkout was also lovely. The hotel was very aesthetically very nice with Italian decor, extremely clean, and the breakfast buffet was great - especially the cappuccino! Matilde was central to the Duomo and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying here!

Very pretty hotel and centrally located with friendly and warm welcoming staff. Breakfast is amazing! The best I’ve seen so far at similar hotels. However, the WiFi was very bad! To the point I could barely use it while in the hotel! I was told they would restart the modem but the connection still was inadequate. Also was not able to cast my channels (like Netflix) onto the TV, and the installed YouTube channel didn’t work either. While much attention was paid to aspects of the decor, the technology aspect was a sore point. Also Would’ve appreciated a bit more knowledge of the metro system from the staff. For example guidance on how to know if accessible stations are not working. I so nearly missed my train to a wedding today as a result.

Fine hotel in the middle of the center. Rooms were small (upgraded which was very nice) with the bathroom the same size as the rest of the room.

The property was in a perfect location. It was a very quick walk to the Duomo and there were a lot of nearby shopping and dining options. The hotel room we chose was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only issue we found was that cigarette smoke was present frequently throughout the hotel including the elevator and our room. The staff was great and moved us to a new room on arrival but the smoke drifted into our new room as well due to the location. We did not mention to the hotel staff or I'm sure they would've moved us again. We stayed at 3 different hotels in 3 different cities while in Italy and the breakfast here was the best we had.

The staff were really friendly but I didn’t read anywhere that the train passes by the hotel and the rooms literally vibrate every time they pass. The train runs from 6 am to 3 am so literally difficult to get much sleep. They give you ear plugs by the side of the bed , but more than the sound it’s the vibrations that aren’t easy to ignore. Location was very central tho and you have to pay a price for it. I just wish that Expedia was more transparent about this feature - i never would have booked the hotel had i known.

The hotel is gorgeous and the room was spacious. You can’t but the location. The only major drawback are the trolleys that run constantly. Our room was extremely noisy well into the night.
