There's now an elevator and the new building is still under construction. The room isn't that big, but it's convenient, close to the toll exit and the area is also busy. It's clean, the room is not that spacious, but it's adequate, but it seems a bit airtight. The hot water works, the AC is cold, but the lighting is not so good, the TV isn't digital yet, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Hopefully the construction of the lift to the 3rd floor will be completed soon, because it's quite a hassle to carry heavy suitcases when going up to the 3rd floor.

Hopefully there's a canopy for parking so you don't get too hot from the rain. It's hot without getting rained on. Thank you 🙏

The room was clean, but the bathroom smelled bad. Access to the room was very uncomfortable and involved passing through a smelly toilet.

Back again to Kimura because the price and facilities are the best, the room area is definitely clean and maybe the only thing lacking is the AC, some are cold and some are not cold enough, that's all, it's nice 🙏

Probably the best budget stay in Semarang right now? Easy access and on a main road, and for the price, it's pretty good. The room, etc., are quite clean, and it looks like they're under construction, and hopefully there will be more fresh rooms. ⚡️

Affordable price and city center

I stayed at Kimura Kostay for 2 days and it was comfortable. The location is strategic, but the Wi-Fi is not very strong. If I go to Semarang again, I will stay at Kimura Kostay again.

For solo travelers, it's a bit overkill. The rooms are too big. But for families, this is highly recommended.

The inside of the room was very nice. It was quite clean, the bed was soft. The AC wasn't cold enough, though. However, when I walked from the lobby to the room, it seemed like it needed a general cleaning.

Beyond expectations for that price, the staff are friendly, the room is comfortable, clean, the room facilities are quite complete, there is a fairly large parking area at the back.

Strategic location in the city center. However, the room isn't soundproof, so you can hear the sound of vehicles outside, especially in the middle of the night. Other guests are also noisy, chatting loudly in the middle of the night on the terrace right in front of my room. I asked for help in WhatsApp to reprimand them, but it seems the hotel didn't take any action. 😊

The price is very affordable for such a nice room. I've stayed here twice, and there were a few inconveniences. When I stayed, there happened to be construction going on in the boarding house, and it was incredibly noisy. From 10 a.m. to around 4 p.m., it was incredibly noisy. The room wasn't particularly soundproof, so noise from the next room and outside was quite audible, making it quite annoying if someone was making noise. The door also had issues; even when closed, it still made noise, making it noisy. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was also very noisy. The AC was cold, the water was hot, the TV had internet access, and towels and soap were provided. However, I'd still bring my own. The window was quite large, allowing for plenty of air and light. Overall, I recommend it for this price.

The location is easy to reach, the car park is also spacious, if not enough in front will be directed to the back of the hotel which is more private. Spacious rooms, complete amenities, clean, cold air conditioning, comfortable beds. The only thing lacking is the soundproofing of the room, it is very audible from inside the room when it is busy outside.
