Amazing stay at Ace Hotel Kyoto, great location, large rooms and excellent service.

The deluxe twin was perfect for two adults and two kids. Very spacious room with all amenities. The hotel is great! The metro station is just under it, convenience stores and mcdonald's just across the street, several local eateries in the shopping complex, and excellent restaurants within the hotel. Facilities were really good, and the staff was super nice. Will go back for sure!

Gorgeous hotel in great location with the friendliest staff! Excellent service and attention to detail. Rooms were lovely. Shopping area adjacent to hotel is wonderful with great shops and dining. Super convenient to the subway too. Would definitely stay here again!

Legendary. Hotel exceeded expectations in every way. Incredible level of detail in the building and interior design, conceptually well thought out with its connections to the city. Comfortable rooms and all the amenities we could want- our highlights were the onsite Stumptown and three restaurants with food options for our picky kids. The Kosa restaurant is especially gorgeous, day and night. English speaking staff were on top of everything, efficient and professional. Easy direct access from the subway station and convenient centralized launchpad to the tourist spots. Cool wood keycards, a glamping vibe, and they have bikes to use!

Modern hotel with a great relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. Service at breakfast was exceptional. Well positioned for exploring Kyoto and some great food options close by. Would thoroughly recommend.

I have stayed in three other Ace Hotels nd Kyoto is by far my favourite! Convenient for access to so many sites, fantastic food and interesting shops right next to the lobby. Absolutely loved staying in this hotel.

Apart from the fact that we didn’t love the whole hipster vibe, we have some comments on our tatami suite: - the beds and pillows were so hard our backs hurt in the morning - lack of light in the bathrooms and throughout the suite - restaurant food was overpriced for what it was Loved Kyoto, but Ace was not our speed.

Ace hotels never disappoint us. We’ve stayed at the Ace in LA a couple of times and was excited to check out the Ace in Kyoto. The room we booked for 3 (standard twin) was spacious and clean. The decor is always very nice as well. Our reservation included free breakfast for 2 and the food was great and filling. There’s a shopping center and train station conveniently located out their side door. Customer service is always great and we can’t wait to return for another visit in the future.

This was a great hotel! Our rooms were very spacious and bright. I loved the having the soaking tubs, too. Their restaurant recs were always good.
