My first time staying at Luminor was because I was looking for one close to the mall so I could walk, as I'd be too lazy to find parking if I drove. The rooms were clean, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and had a full range of amenities. Breakfast was quite varied, the hotel facilities were quite complete, with a sky pool and fitness center, and the food was also delicious. However, my experience here was that the service was a bit slow. I asked for a bathroom mat to be replaced from 7 AM until I finally called again because it hadn't been delivered by 10 PM. This was because the mat was used to cover a leaking AC dripper, but the AC leak was quickly addressed.
Oh yes, the receptionist was also a bit difficult to reach. I called several times without anyone answering, so I finally WhatsApped customer service and asked for this to be fixed. The staff were friendly, but the service was a bit slow for a 4-star hotel.
The Wi-Fi kept dropping out and the signal was very weak because I happened to get a corner room. Refilling food and cutlery during breakfast also takes a while, and the restaurant has limited seating, so you'll have to wait for others to finish eating before getting a table. The parking lot isn't very large, but there's valet parking, and electric car chargers are also provided.
Oh yeah, I also got a room without curtains. I might have forgotten, but that's okay, maybe I'll check again tomorrow.
So far, so good, enough for an overnight stay if you're looking for one that's right in the city center.
