Intimate rooms in a beautiful property at convenient distance from the "downtown" area of Nantucket. The staff was really nice and made sure that we enjoyed all feature of the property. I highly recommend

They didn’t even have toothpaste which we forgot so had to instacart at 9:30pm for 28$. When we tried to check in no one was around and we waited for over 10 minutes for someone to give us a key. The air conditioning cycled on and off all night and was as loud as a plane taking off when it would turn on. The bed was so soft and was slanted with dips in it which made sleeping very difficult. No room in the bathroom for any toiliteries. Had to crane neck to watch the television and the Apple TV was unusable because apps needed updates you couldn’t update the apps.

The room was terrible. Small, cramped, up two flights of narrow, unsafe stairs, ac barely worked, water pressure horrible. Will never go back.

I rated it “just ok” because it Just felt like the property owners try to get the most bang from our buck. Bed mattress was broken on one side, offer coffee and tea but literally not even Splenda Ect. Smell coming in was VERY pungent. It literally was JUST OK, nothing special

This is a very old house converted to a bed and breakfast type accommodation, not a hotel. The finishes were indeed beautifully redone - tile, lighting and furniture all beautiful. The check in was a bit awkward in addition to the “lobby” which was just a living room with a few couples already sipping coffee. The hostess placed us in, arguably, the worst room #102. Right at the base of the stairs and front door, we heard traffic outside and people coming in and out all night. The wood floors upstairs also made every move from the 202 residents very audible. We asked to move rooms at the outset but the hostess said there went any available without “downgrading”. The TV was a nice amenity but didn’t have an adjustable mount so it just faced the wrong way - no way to watch comfortably from the bed. Overall just wasn’t what we expected but wasn’t the worst.

No reception facility available and takes a long time to check in. Excellent cold oatmeal coconut fresh blackberries breakfast. Very steep difficult staircase.

Nice hotel but rooms are very small and our bathroom was not attached to room so hard if you get up a lot at night to go to the restroom.

The shower was not clean and water would not go down. Bed felt cheap, I paid $830 for one night and the room felt dirty and the mattress was cheap.

I’ll start with the good: we were able to book this room in Nantucket about 6 weeks out. There’s cute furniture in the hotel and the overall vibe is in line with pictures. When we arrived, there’s no person to greet you and you check in on an iPad. We met a lady who may have been house manager or house keeping or some random woman - not sure, never had an introduction. The room was small but we expected that. The furniture was too big for the room and poorly thought out. Why was there no luggage rack? It’s a small room so having our luggage on floor was annoying. There’s no phone in the room and the number that was given was for the main life house so we had no way of contacting someone for help. We wanted to see if we could upgrade room but not an option. We were told there was no bottled water in the hotel. How is this possible?! The bathroom smelled like mildew. The air conditioning was loud and barely kept the room cool. Overall there was no service. They offer a golden hour drink, or so they said but we asked about it to the lady downstairs and were given a weird look then warm wine in a coup. If you’re coming to Nantucket, try another hotel in this price point.

While this property was clean, and the area convenient, there were many downfalls. As it was originally a house, these rooms are quite small and there are accessibility issues. As well, it is quite noisy with some of the rooms having bathrooms outside their rooms and people going back and forth. Our air conditioning did not work properly the whole trip, and no one was successful at fixing it. The staff, while pleasant, must have been new, and knew relatively nothing about the area. If you are looking for more of a hotel experience, this is not your accommodation. I would not stay here again.
