The air conditioning wasn't working in the room. Overall decor looked tired, and the hotel in general could do with investment. Located between two railway tracks, it needs to be much better to want us to go back.

The room itself was worst I’ve ever stayed in. Beds were horrible. One was sunken in and slanted. I looked under sheets and it was falling apart. The toilet was dripping all night and the tiny shower wouldn’t stay on. Had to shower with one hand to keep it on. After the night I went to staff to let th know the issues so that they could fix them for the future. I wasn’t asking for anything just letting them know. They didn’t even apologize just made excuse and didn’t even let me finish speaking. Loved our breakfast woman though! If you are going to Orvieto please do not stay here. Stay up in the city not down by the train tracks like I made the mistake of.

All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had a huge pile of dust/dirt in the corner that appears to have been there for quite sometime and mold in the tile grout in the shower.

Not our best choice, the place had great staff, and breakfast was good with nice people serving. Hotel needs an update.

The ac/c never worked and I ws given several different reasons why. Wasted my one day in Orvieto trying to get the room livable in the heat. Had to keep the balcony door open to the traffic and mosquitoes all night just to get some air in the room. Finally was told the ac was not even activated in the hotel... but somehow the lobby was nice and cool. Never got to visit the town. Horri

Extremely convenient for the A1 - 2 minutes from the off ramp. An ideal stopover hotel, with a good medium priced restaurant next door. Staff friendly and helpful. Will certainly re-use.

Service very pleasant. We arrived before check-in, left our luggage to explore old Orvieto and upon returning staff advised they’d put our luggage in our room. Car dependent location. 25 minute walk from train station, taxi/bus service from train station and hotel seemed extremely sparseness

The hotel feels shabby and hasn’t been renovated recently, but this is not the main point. We arrived at the hotel on a hot May afternoon only to discover that the AC was not working and the room was stuffy and humid (we specifically selected a hotel with air conditioning). After tinkering with all AC controls, we returned to the lobby and asked about the AC. The receptionist gave us an embarrassed smile, opened a central circuit box and flipped a switch. For the time being we had air conditioning. But after we left the hotel and returned later in the evening, the AC was off again. We came back to the lobby to talk to the night shift manager, who barely spoke any English. He said and wrote “Giugnio” on a piece of paper, implying that they did not turn on air conditioning in the hotel until June (this was not written anywhere on Hotels.com). He then went up to our room and pretended to tinker with the AC control panel (which obviously didn’t work because the main circuit breaker was down). He later proposed that we open the balcony window and let in some cold air and that in a few hours the room will cool down. I should mention that the back of the hotel overlooks a busy railway. We found this unacceptable and at that point decided to leave the hotel. We found very reasonable accommodations next door, with air conditioning and much more pleasant hospitality and rooms for a similar cost.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. The room was clean but had ants, which were taken care of by the staff spraying insecticide. The hotel was advertised as having air conditioning, which the staff said couldn't be turned on until June 20th for some reason. Temperatures were in the mid-high 80's so the room was very unpleasant for sleeping. The hotel is very near the high speed train tracks, and that is loud at all hours. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Colazione buona e personale gentile. Purtroppo la camera e soprattutto il bagno erano molto vintage, non c'era il doccino della doccia ma solo il soffione e parte del battiscopa della stanza era completamente staccato dalla parete e a terra.

Good hotel just off the main highway and five minutes drive into the center of Orvieto. The hotel is well kept, although dated, but clean and the Staff is very friendly. Well worth the ratio of quality vs price.
