The area is beautiful, the owner gave us very good places to go and my husband had an orthopedic boot, so he let us use walking sticks! So thoughtful! Thank you!

Beautiful and quiet place and the host was very nice, and beautiful Dog 🐕 ❤️ was there to receive us at night.

We stayed for 1 night travelling from Salzburg to Venice. A clean and friendly family feel to this place in a spectacular location with supermarket couple of mins drive away. Staff were welcoming and helpful and supplied a good breakfast. Our room was fairly basic but gave what was required but we did have to report a running toilet and the room got very hot due to heatwave and lack of any air con. Balcony was an added bonus.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful surroundings. The family running the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was cosy, well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was also very good. Only minor improvements I would recommend would be providing a fan for the room (it was a hot few days in Austria, and the room was quite warm at night). Additionally, a mirror in the bedroom close to a plug for using the hair dryer would be useful (there was a mirror in the bathroom, but no plug nearby). We'll definitely stay here again in the future.

A nice traditional hotel, with a warm and helpful welcome, lovely mountain views yet close to highway.

Everything was perfect. The host was kind and understanding in both German and English. Loved the breakfast with the view to the mountains, it could not have been more enjoyable than that. Definitely will revisit in the near future again.

I wasn't sure about the properties of choice until I saw the hotel building. I knew right away it was going to be great. I love such objects, I like the people behind them. We are delighted and we are already figuring out how to visit Bergbude again. Super clean, comfortable sleeping, great atmosphere and excellent breakfast. The head of the facility is a nice, charismatic man.

Property located in outstandingly beautiful surroundings,peaceful, Rooms were cosy & warm, rustic charm, no frills, interesting touches of upcycling with old sledges, walking sticks..great breakfast...friendly & accommodating hosts. A great find!

A very warm welcome a very nice experience for our stay

Leider wurden wir nur von einem Zettel mit unserem Namen und dem Schlüssel an der Rezeption "begrüßt". Generell zwar nicht schlimm, aber etwas unpersönlich. (Wir waren auch schon vor 15h vor Ort, da war allerdings niemand anzutreffen und auch keine Zettel, Auskünfte oder so, also sind wir nochmal gefahren...) Das Familienzimmer war schön groß und sauber. Es gibt keine Türen zwischen "Wohnzimmer" und den beiden Schlafzimmern. Aber für eine Nacht hat uns das nicht gestört. Das Bad hatte eine gute Aufteilung. Die Fliesen sind zwar alt und nicht mehr ganz so hübsch (Geschmackssache, klar), aber es war nicht heruntergekommen oder dreckig und das ist das wichtigste! Das Frühstück war gut. Ein kleines, überschaubares Buffet, aber alles da, was man braucht. Im Garten steht ein großes Trampolin, das unsere Tochter sehr gefeiert hat.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück klein aber fein. Eier werden individuell zubereitet. Unser Zimmer war sauber, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ich denke die Besitzer werden hier nach und nach renovieren. Schönes B&B.

Bilder vom Gebäude und Zimmer vermitteln einen besseren Zustand als es der Realität entspricht. Die Familie war doch etwas geschockt, denn die Unterkunft erinnert eher an ein Wohnheim für Monteure als an Pension/Hotel. Im Doppelstockbett in unserem Zimmer konnte sich der unten Liegende nicht aufsetzen, da das Bett viel zu niedrig ist. Im Hinblick auf den günstigen Preis und das gute Frühstück letztlich für einen Zwischenstopp in Ordnung.

Fantastisk lille perle. Værten var så sød og imødekommende. Hyggeligt værelse. Dejlig have med trampolin til børnene og lidt spil. Virkelig et hyggeligt sted. Vi kan helt klart anbefale stedet og området.

We verbleven 1 nacht in dit hotel. Positief was zeker de vriendelijkheid van de uitbaters. Het ontbijt 's morgens was basic, maar we werden heel vriendelijk geholpen. Het inchecken was vreemd... eerst was er niemand aan de receptie, en dan werden bladen met namen + de sleutels op de toog gelegd, en kon je de sleutel ophalen. Heel vreemd. De kamer was echt wel oud, maar wel netjes. We waren blij dat we maar 1 keer in het bed moesten slapen, want het was echt wel hard....

Helt ok boende för en natts vila ner mot annan destination. Gulliga ägare som var måna om att man hade det bra. Fantastiska vyer runt omkring.

Forfærdelig kloaklugt fra toilet/badeværelse.

Veldig fint sted . Du føler deg som hjemme . Veldig hyggelig personale. Ikke langt fra innsjøen. Mye forskjellig aktiviteter man kan finne rundtomkring. Gameldags intreiør men kjempekoselig 😊 veldig fint sted 😊
