Clean, quiet hotel near nijō castle

This property was well located, within walking distance to several train stations and bus stops giving quick and easy access to any part of Kyoto. The rooms were clean and tidy, small but well equiped.

This was a really good location for an overnight stay. It is pretty close to the train station so we were able to get around pretty easily.

Customer service was great! Was not as clean as expected.

Property very clean. Check in isn't until 4 pm but we were able to leave our bags. Reception is only open until 10 pm. The walls are thin so you can hear people. Overall comfortable and affordable.

Hotel staff were incredibly helpful in accepting our luggage delivery and in making sure we had everything we needed.

It has a wonderful location, close to good landmarks, walkable distance to train stations and bus stops to the city centre. Although is a good idea to have self check-in option, having staff available to help for longer periods would be appreciated.

A value for money hotel. Let down by front desk refusing to make a phone reservation to a restaurant (which didn't have web reservation).

Great, simple place to stay with convenient checkin and checkout in a great location. Cozy bed with lots of pillows :)

Great stay for the price. Close to Nijojo Mae station. If you need to wait for check in there's a noodle store less than 5 minute walk that you can grab a bite at.
