Gorgeous hotel! We loved our stay at Rioca. Although the kitchen isn’t overly stocked with utensils (eg only 2 forks, 2 spoons, etc.), it had everything we needed. The very beautiful room, the hotel’s unique decor, laundry facilities and free teas and coffees were just some of our favourite things. The location is also great for tram access and is in close proximity to a few different grocery stores and rental bikes. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would strongly recommend the Rioca to anyone staying in Vienna, thank you for the amazing stay!

Loved the ambience, decor, attention to detail, consistent theme and free coffee all day. Had difficulty sleeping as it was a heatwave and our room only had a cooler but not airconditioning

Good service and comfortable

We checked 3 rooms on different floors and all of the rooms were in the same condition. Dirty (stained bedding and towels, smeared walls), smelled like chemicals and we saw silver type bugs on the walls. We were shocked as the hotel has really good reviews. We arrived at 9pm so unfortunately we had to stay for the night but the manager was kind enough to refund us the next 2 nights we had booked.

Me and my boyfriend both really enjoyed our stay. Lucas and the other staff were very friendly and even changed our rooms on request without any issues. Room was spacious, and had all the utensils we needed in the kitchen to cook meals if wanted. We decided to try the breakfast out on the last day and it was delicious, I’m from Rio but live in London and it was great to eat some food from home! Would definitely stay there again! We also had some caipirinha on the rooftop for the sunset and it was great. The complimentary mate was really good and available most of the time. Location was also good, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel, so very easy to get to the centre! Would definitely recommend

It was really hot during my stage. Only a fan was on the limit for cooling down

A really funky hotel. Had a HUGE room, with a kitchenette which was a bonus. Nice also to have a small balcony, which was great for drying washing after weeks of cycling :-). BUT had a significant issue with the "secure" in-room WiFi. Could not get either phone to connect, and the support from the IT person was terrible. Basically said it was our devices, even though they had worked in nearly 30 other hotels. They simply gave up and didn't bother to follow up and explore what the problem could be. Ended up having to sit in the lobby to get WiFi, and had my business bank in Australia lock my account for trying to log in. Simply not acceptable. Shame, as the rest of the stay was wonderful.

The place is great. Very clean, friendly and close to everything

The staff were extremely friendly. The room was big and very well furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very little outside noise. Hotel is situated a few minutes from Traisengasse Banhoff which has a direct line to both the airport and Vienna Railway station (Wien bhf). The number 2 tram service is just outside the hotel and takes you into Vienna centre in 15 minutes. We had a lovely stay and would stay again.

Overall, the hotel is good. The room was clean, and the atmosphere throughout the property was pleasant. It’s a solid choice for a short stay. While there are a few areas that could be improved, our overall experience was positive and we were satisfied with our stay.

I am a frequent traveler and came across Rioca by chance about 1 year ago- ever since I look for Rioca when I am traveling to a new town- the value for money is excellent and the staff is genuinely friendly.

Great comfortable place. Easy to get to from Airport and ro see the city using trams. Very clean and well maintained. Limited dining nearby.

Excellent rooms and service! The only reason I am not giving it the full 5 stars is because on two nights there were loud parties from across me - hard to tell exactly where it was coming from but they were up past 2am. There were notices informing guests of the “quiet” times.
