I was disappointed by this Holiday Inn because I’ve stayed in many before. The service at the front desk, particularly at night was terrible. They did not seem interested in doing their job but rather talking with their friends and ignoring the telephone. The day staff at the front desk was great, however. The breakfast was good overall, and the staff kept refilling it constantly so that was definitely a good part of the trip. The room itself was fine and I really don’t have any complaints. My one biggest complaint is we booked the hotel through hotels.com and because we didn’t pay immediately but rather chose to pay when we arrived, which was an option on the website, we were Charged additional fees per night, which I felt was very misleading. It took my husband two weeks to finally get an answer and we did not receive a refund. Overall, it’s a good location in the city, but they do need to work on transparency and hiring better staff for the evening.
