Best breakfast and friendly staffs.

Such a lovely place to stay. Very relaxing and serene. Close to all attractions within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back to visit .

We had the most wonderful stay after a long drive from Venice. Our place was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming.

In the central location of historical area so you can walk to most attractions. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast was really good with many options. There was road construction in front of the hotel when we were there but it didn’t bother us much. We will definitely stay again next time.

The hotel is modern and well maintained. Unfortunately, the AC was not able to keep the room cool in the summer heat. They removed the cabinet which houses the unit and it improves the airflow, but it was never able to get below 22.4 C. We also asked for a plastic trash bag to help us do laundry down the street and we were told the hotel could not provide us with any. Very disappointing they do not go out of their way to accommodate their guests. While this is not a big deal, it was just unfortunate and enough to keep them from a 5-star rating.

It was excellent. Very comfortable and cute. Really nice staff. Went above and beyond. Unique property. Only bad thing was that the street in the front is under construction.

Very clean. Staff is helpful and very nice. Room is comfortable. I got a great sleep on the bed. The only questionable items worth mentioning is the light in the room is very dim, there is no staff at a front desk after 8:30pm so you need a code to get in, and people could see into my room when I left for the day because of the direction it was facing.

Corte Guelfa was a delightful surprise during our time in Florence. The rooms were much more spacious than we expected, and the unique layout—where you enter your room through a beautiful inner courtyard—made it feel far from a typical hotel stay. While there was some road construction outside during our visit, we didn’t hear a thing once inside the hotel or our room, which speaks to how quiet and peaceful the property is. The small breakfast buffet was a nice touch to start the day, and the staff was consistently pleasant and friendly. Best of all, the location was excellent—easily walkable to all of Florence’s major sights.

This property is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and truly felt like a retreat. We stayed in two rooms: one on the main level with a bedroom and a living area with a pull-out couch, and another on the second level with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. Both spaces included a small dining area, refrigerator, stove, and sink, which made them feel like mini apartments. The location was ideal—within walking distance to most major attractions and the train station. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed breakfast on-site, and the food was excellent. As is typical in Italy, there’s no air conditioning. It was in the 60s during our visit, so it wasn’t an issue, but it could be a consideration during the hotter months. That said, I would absolutely stay here again.

We specifically looked for a hotel with air conditioning and even though their website says it has air conditioning, they informed us that it could not be turned on until mid April. The rooms were terribly hot when we were there and we couldn’t open the windows due to mosquitoes. Total false advertising with no disclaimer. The ladies at the desk were super nice but the guy seemed like he couldn’t care less. Location is on very narrow street that in addition had construction that made it a mess.

The staff was amazingly helpful, the hotel was clean, and the breakfast was great. Loved my stay here!

Nice property in a good location. Short walk to everything. Bus stop is a short walking distance. All the staffs are very welcoming, alwas smiling. Francesco is very helpful and accomodating. Excellent breakfast. Free bottled water and snacks. The room was cleaned everyday. I would stay here again if we come back to Florence.
