I booked this hotel for Nottinghill Carnival Weekend. It was in walking distance from the Carnival zone and had perfect transportation links from Paddington and Bayswater station. There’s lots to eat nearby. The rooms are on the smaller side but the beds are comfortable and work for people want a place to rest while they explore London on a quick trip. There are no elevators but walking is good for the soul. Customer facing staff are incredibly friendly and helpful

While conveniently located, the room was so small I couldn’t fit my suitcase anywhere. The floor was slanted & carpet was sticky. The toilet ran water all night long. The towels had stains on them. I didn’t even get under the sheets to sleep. It was not worth the money I paid for it by a long shot.

Transport was good. Worst was people making noise in the room above up to around midnight. Worst also was someone going through our bags which could have been a disaster had left variables in them.

Disappointed. Room advertised was a double bed. Reality was just a bed but no cupboards, no drawers, no storage space, no seating -just a bed. No AC. Two nights for £330 yet room rate is only £100.

If you are looking for a base to store your items and a place to sleep that is centrally located, then this hotel serves its purpose. The location is great, walkable to transport options as well as ample shops and restaurants. The room itself was very basic, clean overall, but not spotless. The floor was uneven, and there is zero room to unpack. The bathroom was very small with zero storage. The is no AC, so if it is warm, prepare to have the bathroom windows wide open and see your neighbors across the street staring back at you, and you will need to use the fan in the room to try and help cool you down. The staff were all very friendly.

The room was NOT as advertised. It looked nothing like the photos online. There were no windows in the room, only one in the bathroom and it was old and only opened about a quarter of the way. We had to ask the hotel staff to provide us with coffee cups to stack under it to keep it open because it would keep falling down… The hotel has no AC and provide you with only a small/weak floor fan which has a 2 hour time limit on it. With the layout, we could not even open a window in the room to let some air in so it was constantly very stuffy feeling and hot. Overall, a very uncomfortable stay. Very few amenities are included in the room. No fridge, no safe, no iron/ironing board. It does include a kettle but it was way too hot in there to even think about making tea. The hotel does provide hand soap, shampoo and body wash and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you get one of the rooms as advertised, maybe this place would be better but ours was not a great stay.

Good location near by Bay Water Station and restaurants. Tiny little room & no aircon or lift- won’t recommend for elderly people!

The room was sparse but it suited my needs. The room was clean but looking out of the room’s window I could see rubbish mounting up in the area behind the property.

Staff were great, room was clean but tired and gloomy, bed was comfy. But it was so hot, couldn't turn the rad down nor could staff. Room was not worth the cost at all, very overpriced. To top it off, we woke very early due to water pouring in through the ceiling and no power. Staff were very apologetic, offered to move us but we'd had enough, we were only there for one night and had planned to wake at leisure, coffee in bed, shower etc Very disappointed to only get refunded about 40% of total price (this came from management not front of house staff who felt we deserved 100%. I wouldn't of cared less if room had cost £150 but we paid £340 for one night! And when I see water was pouring, I am not exaggerating, it was pouring down the walls and through the recessed lights, the carpet was saturated, I videoed it all but cannot upload due to the file size so have taken screen shots that don't really show the extent of it.

This was a very last minute booking. My original - current accommodation has been a disaster. I needed somewhere to be able to sleep without distractions. The hotel looks a bit grungy. But I am a chronic insomniac and very stressed sleep deprived and I managed a good couple of hours. Bed in tiny antiqued room was actually very clean and comfortable. The front office people were very chirpy and offered very accurate directions to for a good location to get a wide variety of cafe/restaurants. Try not to be put off by hotel appearance.

The front desk woman from Slovakia is warm, helpful and hospitable. The room was spacious enough and clean and a couple blocks from Bayswater Tube, Hyde Park ( pond with swans) and Sainsburys plus a market street!
