Clean room. Nice breakfast. Incredible staff amazing location in building.

We booked, at a high price, the best room in the hotel. We were given an attic space instead. We were told no other rooms were available. We are now trying to get a refund.

Interesting, inexpensive place to stay, within the walls of the Cathedral close. Staff friendly, breakfast solid, a stone’s throw from the cathedal. Definitely highly recommend for the bargain-minded traveler!

5 minutes walk from the cathedral. Lovely room, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.

The location is fantastic, right in the cathedral close with onsite parking & very easy access (walkable) to city sights. Lovely, helpful person on reception. However the basic room really is extremely basic, very shabby and old fashioned. You hear people in neighbouring rooms coughing & talking. Another venue for same price might be preferable.

I should have booked a room with a walk-in shower, rather than over the bath.

Historical building with Salisbury cathedral right next door! Location perfect, super quiet at night, staff great. Beds were comfy, windows opened, rooms simple and clean, some bathroom upgrades are needed though. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay right opposite the cathedral with parking onsite

I’ve been staying at Sarum College for many years for a variety of reasons for events within Salisbury. The staff are always friendly & check-in and -out always painless. The ‘Basic’ single rooms are comfy with a sink, single bed, a big cupboard, table/chair and a comfy chair. The bath/shower room & toilet are always very nearby. The included buffet breakfast is fantastic. Whatever you fancy from a cooked breakfast, continental or just fruit or yoghurt. If there’s a big group of people staying and there’s an evening meal planned you can pay for the meal too. Always cooked from scatch and always tasty.

I loved staying here. I went for the most basic room, so the toilet and bathroom were in the corridor and shared. But it didn’t affect my stay at all. Location is amazing right outside cathedral. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included which was great, again really helpful staff. Can’t think of a bad word to say about it. And it was great value for money.

Great location with on site free parking to get straight into Salisbury but also fabulous for visiting the beautiful Cathedral which our room had a view of as well as great included breakfast. No fans, hair dryer, iron or tv in the rooms but a kettle,ctea & coffee is. If out exploring, yhen this is a great base.

What it says in brochure quite peaceful beautiful settings comfy beds . Lovely choice of breakfast . Next to the cathedral and easy to get around salisbury . If your looking for late nights and fun this is not the place for you . Its a retreat for getting back to you .and finding serenity .Also secure and within cathedral so gsyes close at 11 and you can get a key for a deposit . Also a car park with a few spaces .nice benches in park across the road .reception staff were very helpful and helped me out with directions . Also this hosts religious events if your interested in this .

Great Location across the street from the cathedral. Very comfortable and relaxing. If you are going to Salisbury, you will be pleased. I would go back.

Good location and friendly staff. Room nice however, blinds very transparent so adding black out blinds would make for a much better sleep.
