Good sized room, would benefit from double or triple glazing as quite noisy at night

It close to the British Museum, railway stations and university of London. But it is not in a crowded area. This is a hotel within a hotel. The main building is labeled on the map as royal national.

Fantastic location, clean and comfortable room

Everything is fine except the lighting in the corridor. They use automatic lighting system; however, when you were still in that section of that corridor, the light went out or turned on very late.

It was convenient, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well managed and the food was varied and plentiful. However, the window catch in my room was broken- I couldn’t close the window and the room would have benefitted from tissues and body lotion. I would book again.

The hotel felt newer and taken care of. The rooms were clean. Staff were helpful and accommodating when we had to extend our stay. The location is great, it’s in a quiet safe area with lots of pubs and small shops. It’s within walking distance to the British Museum and Soho for more shopping.

Overall, a good place for a short stay in London, especially as it's so easy to get the Piccadilly line to Heathrow airport. The hotel was quiet and the room very clean. Only negative was how slow the check-in was.

I thought the area everything was great.. the only thing I would of like is air conditioning.

How safe it was

Good location, check in was very poor, unnecessarily long and complicated with too many procedures. Manager was not present and staff was new and unsure. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Rooms were clean. No AC.

Great location. Hotel and staff are very nice. Room is quite warm, had to keep the floor fan provided on almost entire stay. Everything else was wonderful.

The only reason I gave 3 stars was no air-conditioning. At least they gave us a fan.
