It's ideal for those looking for a quiet place to relax after exploring the area. The highlight of our stay was the hospitality of Dona Dirce, who gave us a free upgrade to a spacious chalet and helped us book a visit to the Falconry School, which we loved. The chalet was comfortable and well-equipped, although the décor was a bit outdated. The bathroom had two showers, but one didn’t work – since the other was perfect, we didn’t report it. The breakfast was excellent, with fruits, juices, bread, eggs, bacon, cakes, and delicious sweets. As a suggestion, a “Special Coffee” from the region, such as those from São Lourenço or Carmo de Minas, would be a great addition. We also appreciated the PDF guide sent by the hotel via WhatsApp, with recommendations for restaurants and tours, which we followed and enjoyed. Overall, Pousada Suíça Mineira Garden offers comfort, tranquility, and attentive service. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and relaxing stay in Monte Verde.
