The breakfast was overcooked and staff were not very good.

Only a short visit but the staff, the room, and hotel service were great. Great breakfast included as was parking. Pub downstairs was a bonus. Small issue with payment was resolved promptly. Thanks

Fantastic break friendly staff, booked again for October

The room ( no 19) was spotless and the bed very comfy. Bathroom was spacious with a bath and a walk in shower. We had an evening meal there which was delicious and a substantial breakfast the next morning. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Smiles all round.

2nd time I’ve stopped here and it’s still ticks all the boxes. Excellent service all round. I did not have dinner but was very popular. check in, pre check in info and breakfast service was very good. The room was spacious, nicely equipped and comfortable.

The room was beautiful, we were in a room at the top which retained the original features of beams. Clean and fresh. We needed to keep the fan on all of the time we were in the room so we're glad it wasn't too hot outside. The simple addition of a hook on the bathroom door would negate the need to put items near the sink, on the toilet while changing. But all in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Wheatsheaf.

Stayed here for a friends joint 50th and 60th birthday party. Everything was amazing. Staff, breakfast and our room in the annexe. Couldnt fault anything. Highlyrecommend.

Great place stay when ever we go to Sandbach

Nice stay- comfortable with loads to see near by.

Excellent - atmosphere, layout, decor. What a lovely place. Staff were extremely welcoming, design of the room was lovely with everything you could need. Even a fan! Only tiny issue was it was a very hot night and the window is very small and therefore it was very difficult to circulate cool air. Breakfast was delicious. Would certainly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area .

Beautiful property, helpful staff, great breakfast in an historic market town.

Loved the Weatsheaf, great location with nice restaurants nearby as well as quaint and unusual shops. The breakfast was great and the ambience in the restaurant is really relaxing. We stayed one night after a long day driving and left feeling totally refreshed.

The hotel is of a nice standard. Things I would look to improve on. Noise from the road (I had a front facing room). In addition, the internet was dreadful and unusable- 6mb. The was delicious and the service excellent
