Brilliant hotel. Rooms perfect for a family with kids- no sharing uncomfortable sofa beds but they have their own bunk beds in their own alcove. Hotel feels new and clean and is fun.

Overall, everything was okay. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the hotel itself has a very nice décor. The kids absolutely loved the slide and carousel, which are unique and fun features. The free entry to Liseberg after 18:00 on the day of arrival was also a great bonus. Breakfast was standard – decent but could be improved. The main downside for us was the noise. Our room (267) was right next to the kids’ slide, which is open between 9am and 9pm. This meant there was constant noise, and we couldn’t sleep in, nap, or enjoy a quiet moment during the day. By the time we realised this after our first night, we had already unpacked (2 adults and 2 children), so we didn’t change rooms. In summary, it’s a beautiful hotel with lots of fun for kids, but if you value peace and quiet, be mindful of room location.

Great for kids with a slide and carousel in the hotel lobby. But was quite loud at night.

Great experience (especially for the kids), breakfast options are superb. Location is ideal for Liseberg and World of Volvo visits. Only downside is parking is a bit of a hassle.

Great themed hotel for children and adults. Very friendly staff and easy and comfortable accommodation. Buffet restaurant is ideal and caters for all tastes. Staff are always available and happy to answer questions. Great place to stay even if not going to thr amusement park every day.

We were in Gothenburg for the Gothia Soccer Tournament and really scored on our choice of location for never having been there. This was right at the doors of the amusement park and had easy access to public transportation. We were perfectly located to travel to the many venues for the games. Great breakfast and lots for kids to do. Would recommend for families and stay there again if we are able to return to the soccer tournament. My only complaint was the lack of access to laundry as it was costly and not convenient which made our room pretty smelly after a week of visiting.

We loved our family room! Our room was perfect for our family (2 kids and 2 adults). The beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The decor throughout the hotel was beautiful. My girls loved taking the slide. Breakfast was yummy, very busy, but the restaurant is staffed well. The location was perfect for us. It’s so easy to hop on the metro. We were there when it was hot. It would have been nice to have a pool. We would totally stay there again.

The Liseburg is a good hotel to stay at because of location and transportation options. Decor is beautiful. Rooms are nice and clean but a bit tight (European standard). Breakfast selection is good also. The only problem is that it’s filled with lots of little children everywhere…you are guaranteed to have several of them bump into you not matter where you are in the hotel. I would recommend and may come back if I can’t book any other place next time.

This hotel is so fun especially for kids. Might be too fun as the kids didn’t want to ever leave it. :) Its proximity to Liseberg can’t be beat and the theming is a fun mix of mysterious and creative. The kids could’ve spent hours in the lobby on the slide.

The staff is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and the food is pretty good. There is a giant slide in the front area and I actually got to sit and have a coffee in peace while the kids ran up and down the slide for an hour. It was worth the stay alone, haha. If you're going to the Liseberg Amusement Park, you can't get a better location. I highly recommend leaving the hotel, though, and going to Haga, a little town that is about a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel. It has the best food and cobblestone walkways.

I continually saw the online check-in option, but for some reason, the site failed to save my details. Upon my arrival, there was a long line, and it took a while to check in, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. She went over the amenities and the breakfast and parking procedures. The complimentary breakfast was part of the hotel rate, but the parking fee of over €40.00 seemed a bit pricey.
