The hotel and room had everything you would expect with an IHG Hotel.

Clean room, Friendly Staff, Good Breakfast. Biggest issue for me was that the room was hot. Prior to booking I called holiday inn and they claimed that this hotel has A/C. Upon arrival, the front desk staff informed us they use some kind of green energy method for A/C and it would take 30 minutes to cool down. I set it to the coldest setting. The room never cooled down. Green method doesn’t work. If they had usable A/C I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Unfortunately we were too hot all night long.

It would be great to have a fridge, microwave, and kettle in the room for added convenience. The laundry facilities are wonderful, and the gym is well-balanced and thoughtfully equipped."

We arrived early and they were really accommodating to get our room ready. Room was spacious and clean. Would have liked a fridge but being really picky. Only 5 minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was nice and offered choice. Staff were friendly asking for directions. Free laundry which was an added bonus! The rooftop terrace was nice but couldn't enjoy due to the weather (raining)

Friendly staff that went out of there to be accommodating. Only issues I had is my room would not cool off but hotel did bring me a fan so I could be comfortable in the room. I will definitely stay again when I visit Sion.

Very nice comfortable room

Unfortunately, the stay fell well below my expectations. My floor and room had an unpleasant smell. I was advised it had been attended too, but someone had attempted to mask the smell. Thus, my stay was spoilt and was somewhat uncomfortable. The afternoon staff did their best. The morning shift did not contact me at all. In fairness the afternoon staff offered a room change, but by this time packing up and relocating was not a good option either. Having paid more for a ‘quality’ hotel it left a lot to be desired.

Un Hôtel très propre et dans un endroit utile pour visiter Sion ainsi que voyager autre part. Le petit dej était plus varié que les autres Holiday Inn Express que nous avons visités. Un bon addition avec la salle de sport et le rooftop avec une belle vue des montagnes. Un grand merci à Mélinda qui a pris bien soin de nous.

Brand new hotel. Everything was super!

The room was fine but terrible experience with our bikes. We are riding from this area to Barcelona and the condition of our high end touring bikes is very important. We locked them in conference room with other bikes as directed by hotel. Next morning at 630 we came for bikes and found they had moved them to another bike. They were locked together and locked to a table so they dragged the two bikes and table to another room and I found them in a mess with pedals in wheels and scratched up. They could have asked us and we would have moved. Also the meeting in room later in day. In 30 years riding in Europe never had a hotel treated my property so negligently and without any sense. Our bikes cost many thousands and if a wheel is damaged we could have an accident or be stuck in middle of no where. All they had to do is ask us but they dragged our bikes. If you are a biker you will understand my outrage.

Clean modern rooms with good internet. Nice breakfast buffet. Conveniently located nearby to the train station.

What a lovely place to stay, this hotel is near the station and close to the town, the staff have been very efficient and friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Happy to recommend this property
