Mandarin spoken. Limited English and no Cantonese spoken even though this is Guangzhou. Stay here because Sauna in hotel was convenient for massage. Not the cleanest facilities as quite old but price was good at $218 CNY for massage and unlimited buffet.

This place is a death trap and a matter of time before a serious disaster happens to people who are unfortunate enough to stay here. To be fair to true staff, I found them to be helpful and pleasant. Here were the problems. Total power cut (entire hotel) 3 days in a row at different times! Lasting 20 mins-30 mins each time! Made my way down a fire exit (bulbs not working in fire exit sign lights!!!) Stairwell was crumbling and when I got to the bottom. The fire escape was bolted closed and couldn't be opened! That is so dangerous that I was completely flabbergasted! The rooms and hallways were stinking of damp / mould. Really terrible. Went to see the sauna, seriously there were 4 buckets on the welcome desk collecting dripping water from the ceiling! This whole building should be ripped out and refit so that it's safe for a start!!! Perhaps it's too far gone and should just be condemned and demolished! Worst experience of any hotel I've stayed in and I have traveled the world extensively!!!

I would prefer if they provide halal food for the free breakfast as we and most of the people we met who stay there are Muslims.

Beds were hard, cleaner didn't like to leave extra toiletries, no floor swept. Breakfast included if you like all the chinese food.Really needs a good over haul. Basic hotel.

I have been staying at this hotel since 5 years ago. It suits my needs as it is situated near my suppliers. Although the hotel is a bit run down, it served my purpose. The wifi provided is also a plus. Hopefully the management will renovate and improve the conditions of the room.

Hotel staff were very friendly and the location was good, close to the pearl river and metro station. Hotel lobby was fantastic but my room was far from good... It was not dirty but looked old and jaded. water damage to wood work had begun to rot on the walls... a simple lick of paint and some filler could resolve the problem easily.... doesn't look great when you take in relation to the cost, which for China/Asia is not cheap....

it was appalling, the ceilings were leaking, they gave us 2 single beds even know there was 4 of us and if we wanted another room, we had to pay again which was outrageous. This resulted in me and my wife sleeping on the floor while we let our children sleep on the bed. we couldn't get any sleep as there was a late club next to the hotel which no one warned us about. the windows were broken and could not be opened so there wasn't a view at all!

Near Metro station Haizhu Square on Line#2 (blue). About a 10 minute walk from exit D, but taxi driver had hard time finding it as he only spoke Mandarin and seemed to have a hard time with the instructions written on Hotels.com confirmation as well as hotel's web site that was written in Chinese! Furthermore the hotel's sign was not turned on at night so it was difficult to see. The taxi from the Metro should only be 10 rmb. Upon leaving, pressed for time, took a taxi but would have been faster to walk as the road is one way and the driver had to make a number of turns. Still about 10 minutes to travel the 1.7 kms. Hotel room was fine though older. Finish peeling off wardrobe. No bottle water but a kettle was provided though did not want to use. Staff disputed inclusion of breakfast in room rate until I showed them the confirmation. The version they have does not indicate this. Strangely the breakfast is located inside the attached Sauna. Food was chinese style and nothing to write home about. Late at night there is only a noodle stand two doors to the right of the hotel. Menu only in Chinese but some pictures you can point to. Tasty and only 10 rmb.

This is a good location hotel , walking distance to Pearl river , 10 yuan by taxi to beijing road market , night market , cruise point , and many other attractive places . Restaruant and clubs are just around this hotel . Around 70 yuan to go to Canton Exhibition centre by taxi and they also provide free shuttle service during exhibition . Breakfast is Ok but not very good . Staff is very much helpful and English is also good of reception girl . A small shop inside the hotel for currency exchange , phone sim card, drinks, snacks , and other daily routine items on reasonable prices . They also have spa rooms . Rooms are little dark and do not have windows properly . Good wi fi in the rooms . Taxi can be get just outside the Hotel . You can go to Subway staion by walking or by taxi , its not very near but not very far . Good markets around this hotel , have a long walk on streets and enjoy local markets . Over all a good hotel to stay , only rooms must be with window .

Anyone staying at this place who only need basic amnesties will feel satisfied staying here. I chose this hotel for its location and also the low cost because this is a business trip. The WiFi in the room is a added bonus.

The hotel is just ok. It is nearby onelink plaza and zhujiang river. Not so convinient for me as it is one way road. Not easy to find taxi infront of hotel. Hotel next door is a nite club though.. Breakfast is quite ok.. but they have the same menu every day. It makes me bored with the menu as i stayed there for 5 nights.
