The location is quite strategic. From the room you can see the river view. Behind the hotel there is a Ceylonese shop so if you want to eat it is close. However, the wifi is bad.

need more than 10 mins just for check in, and the bad thing.. they gave us wrong key and room. we got unready room and need to go back at the receptionist to complain and change them. the food is also plain and less variety of food. actually not worth the price. plus, bring your own toothbrush, they didnt provide them any.

the right choice when going to Kuching and staying at Harbour View Hotel, the location is close to the waterfront (walking about 5-10 minutes), right next to the hotel there is Tua Pek Kong Temple, just a little way behind the hotel there is a restaurant that is currently hits and crowded with visitors, the name is Ceylonese Restaurant.. walk to the left side of the hotel there is a 7eleven minimarket. the breakfast menu is also varied and delicious, still suitable for the Indonesian tongue, and no need to bring cayenne pepper or chili sauce from Indonesia, it turns out that cayenne pepper in Kuching is also spicy, haha. for coffee lovers, don't forget to try drinking "tongkat ali" coffee, the name of the nescafe machine.. it's really delicious.. from the hotel to the Kuching monument in the city center is also not that far, can be accessed by walking about 10-15 minutes. for those of you who are going to Kuching for the first time, staying at Harbour View Hotel is definitely the right choice. I stayed with a room with a city view from the room, you can directly see the Kuching waterfront.

Good place to stay as it was nearer to the waterfront. However, for those who loved quiet and peace, should better stay at the highest level as even at level six, the loud music from the nearest club could be heard.

The hotel is along the Kuching waterfront. We got a good view of the river. I like that we can easily walk around the area because it's near a lot of attractions—museum, waterfront, cruise, Plaza Merdeka, cat statue, Topspot Seafood, restaurants, and a mall to buy stuff. We had some problems with our initial room because of the adjacent room, but the hotel was quick to respond, and they provided us with a more comfortable room. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall, great stay!
