Copenhagen Marriott Hotel

Hotel is in good condition and staff are professional. The hotel location is a little bit removed from the center of town but being on the water is great. Very good gym, sauna and steam rooms and breakfast buffet is excellent.

If you want an American style hotel when you travel in Europe, this hotel is for you. Aside from the sauna facilities adjacent to the gym, you cam find this hotel in any large American city. Large, modern rooms with two beds, good for families. A warning - Denmark is an expensive country and all the food and beverage pricing will shock you as compared to the US. It's about a 1 KM walk to the main square in front of city hall, slightly less to the train station. If the weather is good, walk to the hotel if you are coming by train and have light luggage.

The location is perfect. The staff is courteous and accommodating. The room was spacious and had an amazing waterfront view.

Great stay!

My stay at this hotel as a Bonvoy member was a mix of frustration and a few redeeming moments. Upon arrival, after a 10-hour trip with my family, I was exhausted. Despite having requested early check-in, the receptionist was unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate. After insisting, I was finally given a room—but not according to my profile preferences, which I have consistently detailed over my years as a Marriott member. Her attitude was rude and unkind, making an already tiring experience worse. Thankfully, Ms. Mishelle stepped in. She was professional, attentive, and made an effort to expedite our check-in, ensuring we could rest before our scheduled events. She was the only reason the situation improved. she made up! Unfortunately, the room we were given had serious issues. The air conditioning wasn’t working, making the room unbearably hot. The toilet wasn’t functioning properly, and the water pressure in the shower was extremely low in both of the rooms we booked. These issues made it difficult to rest and freshen up. To make matters worse, I didn’t receive any of the usual membership benefits I enjoy in the U.S. I felt like a second-class guest—except for the service provided by Ms. Mishelle. After two nights, she arranged for a move to a supposedly “newly remodeled” room. However, this room was smaller, had contemporary furniture I didn’t like, and didn’t feel like an upgrade at all. Amazing location. Spotlessly clean, sauna in basement! Youcan dip in the sea right out front of the Hotel! Gowns and slippers available. Fab location and easy to get everywhere

If you like staying in cookie-cutter hotels and don’t look for surprises, this place is for you. Everything is just as it’s supposed to be at Marriott.

Very comfortable. Quiet, roomy space. Very convenient for restaurants, shops, central train station, Tivoli, sightseeing. Bar is a great place to relax.

The rooms are a little dated.The location is fantastic. The check in process was efficient and quick. Probably more suited to business travellers than families.

We were in Copenhagen for a football match. We stayed in the Marriott as on the river and between bars we have previously used (!). Check in was efficient. They said room upgrade as Marriot member. The hotel appeared quite tired and need of a full refurb. We had a drink at the bar in lobby. Nice area there. Sit outside and watch the boats on the river. The room was ok. Two queen beds. Shower wasn’t very strong. Curtain in bath type shower. The revolving door into the hotel needs attention. Every person was seeing it stop half way and then it would start and stop. Maybe sensing issues. Usual question - Would we stay there again - it’s a Yes.

Great stay. Lobby was gorgeous. Only issue was I reserved a room with a view, but I just had a view of an office building. Not much of a view. Not a huge deal. Overall very nice place to stay.

Nice big rooms, location was set a little away from the hustle of the city, yet only a 5mins walk from the metro. Big gym and a good concierge to guide when needed

Great stay!

Everything was excellent. The room a little old but was very clean and the housekeeper was very diligent. All service at the bar, front seat and concierge was excellent

Couple of days with my son

There were some good points like a location of the hotel and a nice lobby and bar. Unfortunately we also found some weak points like old furnished and equipped room, empty minibar, no water provided to the room and other small things like one bathrobe for two people and one very small cream for two people for 4 days. Immediately after the arrival the obligatory 2 000 DKK deposit was taken. Generally this 5 star hotel has still a lot to improve.

Carpet and room is little tired

Excellent staff. Very Hospitable and caring. We arrived at 11 and check in time was 3. They still gave us rooms which was much needed since we had 14 hrs flight..
