Easy to find and a quiet out of the way hotel on the edge of the peak District.

I can't fault it. Spotlessly clean and for an economy single room, it had everything you need. En suite, nice little touches having hand soap and shower gel. Spotless white towel, bath mat and bedding. The bed was comfortable. Check in was very friendly and I was given full instructions on how to use the self locking main entrance door. And all staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great in the restaurant. Yes, you may wait a little longer for it than in a chain restaurant, but knowing everything was home cooked and prepared more than made up for that. I would recommend this hotel .

Only stayed for one night, but had a lovely stay. Lovely building and decor. Room beautiful. Quiet and luxurious. Very friendly staff, both at check in, and the following morning at breakfast. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and very reasonably priced. Would definitely return when in the area again.

They degraded from king size bed to single without apparent reason. I have payed for something and received something else

Lovely darker rooms instead of just plain white. Friendly staff and cozy feel to the hotel

Staff were excellent. Very convenient for M1. The room was sparse, no space for a bedside cabinet. Bathroom was cold. That said it was a good price compared to other places, so don’t want to be too critical. On site restaurant was good.

Was given a top floor room, the stairs nearly killed us. The room was very enclosed, the velux window was very tiny and we struggled to open it. Had to have it open most of the night as there was no air con or fans. For £67 i would expect alot more! Although the staff we came across when we arrived back was more than friendly and welcoming. Was told check in was between certain times and if we wanted to check in after these hours, we would be charged for extra wages for the staff to stay longer (which is fair enough) as the desk is only manned for a limited time during the day. But there was no-one on the desk when we arrived and we waited a little while before my partner had to ask someone. (Again i know staff have other things to do) but would expect someone there as in their terms, we would be charged extra to have them there out of hours although when she did come she was friendly and helpful.

Arrived Saturday afternoon, checked in was quick, found room a good size and everything was clean. The food was excellent . Overall it was a pleasant stay.

£60 far too much for this hotel and no breakfast

Excellent location for the event we were attending at Eckington. We were made welcome by friendly staff, the room was spacious, clean and well equipped/well maintained. Great to have free parking too. Perfect for our overnight stay.
