Very accommodating staff! They even upgraded us to a suite because it was my birthday weekend and my last name is Stanley. The Acropolis view from the rooftop pool/restaurant were stunning. My wife and I also enjoyed having coffee and baked goods in the cafe just outside the lobby. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Stanley hotel and staff!

The Stanley is an amazing hotel full of courteous and service oriented employees. Clean, comfortable, and modern. The rooms are excellent. The highlight was the outstanding breakfast and beautiful view from the 9th floor.

We liked the Hotel. Their Cloud 9 restaurant on the 9th floor had wonderful food and fabulous views! Really enjoyed their breakfast buffet.

Property location was great for exploring. Hotel itself is big with many rooms but clean. The bed was comfortable and room size was decent for Athens. The rooftop pool with Acropolis view was beautiful and appreciated even in late March. The parking was a block or two away but better than finding your own parking. Overall a great option for staying and you get good value for your money considering the quality. Mindful that it’s on a busy and loud roundabout and near one of Athens less desirable areas of Omonoia. But relative location to the Acropolis and the subway station was convenient.

Property itself is beautiful and the rooftop lounge area is incredible. The area around the hotel is a bit dirty and there is a lot of graffiti, much like there is in many areas of Athens, reflecting the difficulty the last 10-15 years have brought in Greece. Staff were wonderful however and the people were very friendly

The Stanely is very nice w/ a great view of the acropolis and city. The room was very spacious w/ balcony, the shower is a bit tight but bathroom overall was nice and clean. Housekeeping does daily room check and cleaning for safety purposes. They have a really nice restaurant at the top floor, ate there for dinner & drinks just about every night. Beautiful pool as well and kind staff. Hotel is also conventiently located at thw corner of metro station entrance. Definitely recommend staying here!

Stanley amazed me in the photos when I was booking it. I was excited for our stay here as we will be spending few days in Athens. There are cheaper properties around however I chose this hotel given it’s quite pricey so I think it will deliver. Check-in was smooth but Lo and behold, the lady who assisted us chucked us in a very outdated and a room meant for those with special mobility needs. I was really dissapointed and argued with myself whether to ask to be moved or not. I showered and nearly slipped because the water was everywhere because I think I was meant to sit while showering?Even my husband, who normally would not complain, asked if we could transfer hotel as this was really not pleasant at all. This was far different from the photos in the website. I spoke to the lady in the reception and told her my concern. She wasn’t pleasant at all. Although she did move us eventually ( but on day 2 of 3 and to a better room with new facilities , better television and cleaner toilet) The way she sighed and argued telling me” that room is not only for special needs” and even raised her voice when she was explaining the move which I told her that I understand her and she didnt have to speak to me that way(very condescending). I thanked her but no acknowledgement nor even an apology for not meeting a customer’s expectation. I felt a bit cheated and undermined with the way we were treated whilst those I encountered in the lift or breakfast area sounded happy with their stay.

Situated well for a 15 minute walk to a good restaurant district, the Hotel Stanley and her staff couldn’t have been more welcoming! Superb 9th floor restaurant and a bracingly chilly pool with views over to the Parthenon made for a special spot. Thank you to the kind staff who went above and beyond to make our stay special, one of whom enquired multiple times about our son, having remembered his name without needing to ask twice. Not a cheap stay, but worth every penny.

The rooftop restaurant's prices were way too expensive for their taste and quality. The breakfast had a good varieties but the taste of most of what we ate was OK. The room quality doesn't deserve 4 stars. Their service was ok.
