The hotel is great. The rooms were quite nice, and the location is fantastic. It’s less than a block away from the metro station. The staff was incredibly helpful during the check in and check out process. Breakfast was quite good. I would highly recommend Mövenpick for a stay in Budapest.

An excellent city centre hotel. Located within 100 metres from metro in the heart of Budapest. Clean, convenient with large rooms. Busy area as you’d expect, however, once inside it’s quiet and didn’t hear any traffic or other noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good dining options and bar area.

It is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Getting around town was busy, and using Uber or taxis were hit or miss.

Not a 4* hotel. Property is clean but rooms are small, house keeping is terrible. Restaurant is only open for breakfast & options are not great compare to price. Bar is small & option to dine in is not good idea as tables are small and thought having meal in a bar not ideal with kids. Overall management doesn’t have customer service even after several complaints have not received proper apologies or taken initiative to fix the issues. Proper management training required.

We have been on a 24 day trek through Europe and our last night was spent in Budapest at the Movenpick. It was by our our our favorite. The location is central to everything, the parking was in the same building, the beds were probably the most comfortable we’ve slept in in weeks, and it was quiet and clean. The front desk staff spoke English and were extremely friendly with directions and restaurant recommendations, which turned out to be fantastic as well.

The staff was very friendly and the location is prime in Budapest for sightseeing and dining. The breakfast for $14 euros per person is top notch and the hotel dinning area is beautiful so you notice you are in Europe. The coffee is the best I tried in the whole trip that involved 5-6 hotels in different Central Europe cities. The bar is also very lively and the servers were really nice. They also have an adjacent parking for a fee.
