Great and comfortable place to stay
Great, clean, and satisfied.
The electric mosquito exterminator didn't work that causing a lot of mosquitos in the room. Please pay attention for it.
The rooms are big. nice place to stay there
Almost perfect if not for the slightly dull food and their inability to prevent other guests from suddenly sitting and drinking my drink in my terrace.
The room is clean & quiet. Aircon is cool. Bathroom's clean & good. Breakfast is good enough. Overall it's value for money.
Exotic kind of hotel. Great taste of food. A bit dusty in the room, especially their mattress. Hope Dana Solo Hotel will improve their service by this review.

Homey place to stay
My husband and I were attending wedding party and trying to stay at this hotel. We felt just like at home and this hotel are close to Gramedia, PGS, Sami Luwes (cheapest supermarket at Solo) and also near to Klewer.. We enjoyed the atmosphere when we had a breakfast.. We could see kids are playing at the green garden, we could see beautiful white bird.. That was our experience while staying at these place..

Average Wedding Environment
I attended wedding party at Hotel Dana, my impression are the building or ballroom and known in bahasa by Pendopo's architecture is good, food and beverage quality and taste are quite okay, space parking too small compare to Pendopo capacity, we have to park at the main street JL Slamet Riyadi, the location is in strategic area. The wedding held in the evening in the rainy season, we got fresh air since the Pendopo in open space. Thank you & GBU

An ocean of Quiet away from the maddening rush.
Well this was not our booked hotel. We had been moved because the President was in town. So to start. The hotel / motel is about 150 yards from the main road having a large car park first. Although it is called a hotel it is more like a motel as with some of the rooms you can drive right up to them. All buildings are ground floor. The reception was a bit disappointing as it is a small counter in a corner of a very big hall. The check in was a bit hap hazard and not enough rooms for our group with some people having to double up when they should have been singles. The rooms are in 3 buildings, 2 long wise and 1 at right angle to these making a courtyard. In the center of the courtyard is the main buildings and there coffee shop which does all the meals. I had room 41 which turned out to be a junior sweet. So through the front door and you are in a small sitting room which has a settee, a large desk, a largish low table and 2 chairs which did not match. Through to the bedroom (which is rather large) you have the most important thing - the bed - a double. It was quite comfortable. A longish desk are against one of the walls with another chair. A nice TV but not to much of a selection of channels. The bathroom area was OK. A good sized shower, decent wash basin and of course the most important item - the toilet. Also provided is a kettle, fridge etc.The room was as clean as can be expected. There are 2 air con units in the junior sweet's but once the room was cool I only needed the one in the sitting room running. I also had a resident gecko in my room living behind the TV. At first I tried to catch it but then realized that it was eating the mosquito's. A nice addition. All the rooms are non smoking so you just take a chair and sit outside the front door. An ashtray IS provided. There is free wi-fi which was good. The coffee shop did nice food. There is a garden area at the rear of the coffee shop. Nice place to sit. However the settee and chairs material was faded and thread bare in places and was dirty. there was another problem I had but I wont put that on here. All in all not a bad place to stay. As with most places that we stayed at, there are small supermarkets near by which are useful.

Classic, Convenient and strategic
We stayed here during Lebaran holiday, the rate is still quite good. Superior room is spacious, I stayed here 1 superior room, two adults, and two children 6 and 3 y.o. Strategic location! One tips, you will not find Indomaret/Alfamart (convenience store) nearby, but if you ask the frontdesk for backdoor of the hotel, you will have walking distance access to SuperIndo supermarket! Hotel has restaurant and hall usually used for wedding reception, hotel food is ok and you can order via phone. In most of the room, you can park vehicle right in front your room. Breakfast location is terrific, this hotel has nice backyard with big pond, huge old trees. Children will be so happy here. I recommend superior room compared to standard, additional fridge and much more spacious. If the hotel decide to improve the quality of its heritage architecture and interior, I would give 5 star.

Truly Faraway Home
The Location of Hotel is very strategic at the center of Solo City, and various transportation can be use to reach the hotel. I Have the room on the left side of the building, near to the restaurant and concierge, and I found that the room has back garden. The room is great, clean and fresh. but the TV is CRT. the bathroom is clean with hot and cold water. toilet amnities is fully support with clean towels. the service is good and friendly. but the food need more variations. the breakfast location surrounding by a beautiful garden. I definitely return to this antique hotel.
