Value for money hotel and the room is quite spacious for Tokyo hotel standard. We got a room in 10th floor and the view was great. The location is quite strategic near Tokyo Station and there are JR and Tokyo Metro access just 5 minutes walk. Good selection of amenities and there are free coffee dispenser in the lobby area

Location is strategic, close to Metro Station, Subway, Line Hibiya. Sardonyx Hotel room is spacious, cozy, perfect for travel with family. Breakfast is awesome, lots of variety... Really recommend.

Perfect location, just 1 stop to tokyo station by train, exit a4 metro subway hibiya line, hatchobori station just across the street from hotel, but no elevator from this exit, if you need elevator just walk to jr station exit b2, by train you can go everywhere, 4 stop to maihama st (to disney resort), 4 stop to akihabara st, 6/7 stop from ueno st, 2/3 stop to ginza, 1 stop to tsukiji st, 24 hours lawson just opposite this hotel, family mart also just few steps away, you also can go to tokyo st by walking about 10 minutes, just go straight the street, you will see takashimaya before reach tokyo st, I very recommend this hotel!!

This hotel is definitely dated with its fit and finish. My two issues with this hotel were the AC and bathroom.
When we first got to the room it was supper hot as our room was south facing at it was a very worm day. The AC was only in Japanese and there was nothing in the room to explain how to use it (not a great first impression).
As for the bathroom there were two things. The tub would creak very loudly with every movement you made and the other was with how the plumbing all ran into the floor drain.

Absolutely loved staying here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and had great attention to detail. The area felt safe and there were many transportation options: Tokyo Station was a short walk away, the metro was an even shorter walk away, there was a bus stop nearby and many taxis in the area. The sound of traffic could get a little loud at times, but it’s a big city so that’s to be expected. I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel to stay in. Staff was above and beyond helpful and kind. Easy and convenient luggage transport. Close to subways stations so you never have to walk or carry belongings far. Convinies right around the corner for snacks. Overall amazing stay and would return again. Bonus points for scale and larger than average rooms!

Sardonyx Hotel Tokyo rooms are big! Highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay. Denny’s which is a stone’s throw away served a value for money breakfast and we ate there for the 3 days we were there. Hatchibori Metro station Exit 4 is next to Denny’s. If you take this exit, it will bring you to the platform to go to Ueno where you can take the Skyliner Express to Narita Airport. However, you will need to negotiate quite a few stairs and there are no elevator except at Exit 2.

Had corner rooms during two separate stays recently (606 & 306) Large room and window able to open which was nice and has view of canal. Second stay the room smelled like someone had smoked in there but perhaps just a heavy smoker. Not anything fancy for sure but didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Not a lot of traffic at night so could sleep with window open. Higher floor better. Good buffet breakfast in connected restaurant.

Very nice hotel. Good location with subways very close by. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Nicely appointed rooms. Great shower and toilet. Able to control the temperature in the room. Other than a closet, there was limited space to unpack. But overall, we really liked this hotel and would defnitely return.

Great staff. Good pricing. Location was easy to go around all of Tokyo. Pajamas and amenities for free. Rooms are small but we made it work in our three person room. Beds were comfy. The safe didn’t work. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very helpful for us first time Americans visiting. Gave us some areas to check out. Rooms were clean and the best part about this hotel was the free coffee in the lobby. 10/10 for the free coffee. The rest our our 5 hotels we stayed at during our drip, not one had free coffee.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The rooms were tidy but overall were due for a refurb, carpet and sofa in the room showing signs of wear and tear. Loved the location, was quiet had great facilities and food outlets close to accommodation and the train station was across the road. Thanks a great experience
