Great hotel for Oslo stay for any reason! Excellent staff, large rooms and great in hotel food options.

This hotel takes me back in time.. not in my time.. I truly appreciate history and I love the decor of this hotel. Such careful attention was paid to the renovation to reflect the original build. We were even there for a Jazz Band and the only thing missing were retro costumes.. It could have been 1928. Very cool! The room was beautiful with lots of storage and the dinner options were amazing. Great places to eat right here at the hotel. It is a little off the path, but what fun it was to walk or take convenient transportation just outside the front entrance to explore the other parts of the city. Our stay was wonderful.. Thank you so very much.

Incredible hotel, beautiful decor, spacious and comfortable rooms. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with live jazz and great service. The spa staff were so helpful and my husband’s deep tissue massage was perfect. The rooftop pool and spa are a must. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh and delicious. It has great connections to the centre and the airport transport links.

Lovely staff who went over and above to help. We turned up on a busy Saturday night for dinner and the lady at the front desk ran after us after a spot for four opened up suddenly, very kind. We were on floor 5 and could hear quite loud, clear music until the early hours though.

Great hotel all around

Absolutely loved this accommodation! Art Deco, stylish, abundance in the details, I would come back to this hotel every time. It's centrality to the heart of Oslo, accessibility to anywhere you need to go. The design was welcoming, cool and warm at the same time. The heated floors were a cherry on top of a delicious treat. The *only* bit of feedback - the provided 'slippers' in the room (I appreciate that they had them at all, period!) were flip flops, not slippers. This is helpful if you are making your way to the pool I suppose, but don't serve as comfortable 'house shoes'. The breakfast!! I can see why people come to the hotel just for breakfast - it did not disappoint and was no joke - exotic fruits? Homemade smoothies? incredible. Live jazz?! Delicious food and friendly staff. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating!

Sommerro is a nice high quality hotel very close to city centre. The rooms are nice and the hotel decor is very pleasant. The restaurants are rather disorganised but maybe that was due to New Year’s Eve: booked a table at TAK at 9:00 pm and won’t seated till 10:30pm. The service was also extremely slow and the food was very nice but very scarce and expensive. On the other hand, to apology for their disorganisation, they offered us drinks which we appreciated. The bar and restaurant on the main floor is very nice and staff very friendly. The pool and wellness area pleasant although the men’s sauna wasn’t working. On the whole a nice experience and would go back.

Loved the old world feel and the personal touches. No QR codes in this elegant spot.

Our stay at Sommerro was for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make our stay special! Lovely little touches such as champagne at dinner and treats from the patisserie made us feel very welcome. The hotel itself is stunning, with incredible staff always welcoming and friendly. Rooms are immaculate and we enjoyed a wonderful massage in the onsite wellness centre where we were also treated so wonderfully. Can't fault a thing about Sommerro or our stay in this beautiful city!

This hotel is hands down the best hotel I ever stayed at this past year. The room was so cozy but this hotel offered so many amenities. The staff was also friendly but the hostess with brown hair that usually works mornings was very rude to my mother. I still don’t know why she had such attitude but maybe she was having a bad day. We didn’t let it get to us because every other staff member was so welcoming. I will be back soon!

Lovely hotel and facilities and breakfast. Nicely appointed. They charge too much for guest pool access, but perhaps it’s to limit the numbers. We had a nice swim but price meant we only did it once as a quick dip seemed silly.

Oslo is a gorgeous modern City and Sommerro House was a great, comfortable hotel to stay at. Jazz bar/restaurant are beautiful.
