Hotel Samjung

Generally good!

This hotel is much cleaner and quieter then my last stay 5 years ago. I like it

Looks good from the outside, but rooms need some care and attention and some modern touches

I got bitten by bed bugs .. room 1001 ..

Beds were hard as rocks, laundry service says it will be done by evening with a rush charge, but won't be don until 10 AM the next day (!)

It’s an old facility especially the bathroom

The location is perfect as I always have my appointment at Cha Hospital

I like they clean our room daily Give new towel even we not request them so.

The property was quite old and worn down, the AC wasn't working. Staff also wasn’t the friendliest.

Very nice hotel. Housekeeping personnel are very responsive and helpful. Laundry service was very good. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is not worth the price.

I often choose not to have room service everyday but they were considerate to leave a box with water and other necessities at ny door everyday.

Property is smoke-free, but the elevator, hallway smells like someone just smoked indoor. There is no AC in the room, even though it was November it was really hot.

Hotel service was great and the amenities were great too. This was the first hotel in the area with free cans of beer, pops, water and chips. One downside of the hotel was that it was not very soundproof, that I could hear my neighboring rooms' guests taking showers, flushing, talking on the phone and slamming their doors quite well, which I didn't expect from 4-star hotels.

For a four-star hotel, i had at least expected their curtains to be blackout curtains to completely block the light out. Turns out that it was a regular curtain. I turned the AC on, set rhe thermostat at 65 F at 9 pm, hoping the room would get cool and crisp faster. At 2:30 AM, the room temperature was 82 F, 7 Am 76 F. Their comforter may be comfortable and cozy during the winter season, but completely out of line for that temperature. At 8;30, it went down to 74 F. I wish i had slept on their bathroom which had a cool stone floor. I usually set my home temperature at 70 F because Korean summer is quite got and stuffy. Even my dogs couldn't have slept at that temperature. Completely unacceptable. I have stayed at Samjung hotel for several occasions in the past but never in summer. I would never choose Samjung during the summer season.
