Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North

My stay at the Courtyard was excellent. The rooms were exceptionally neat and well-maintained, reflecting the fact that the hotel has been recently refurbished—everything looked brand new and modern. One of the biggest advantages was its convenient location; the train station was just a short walk away, making daily commutes incredibly easy. Overall, a great experience with both comfort and convenience. Highly recommended!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed 3 nights but they missed room service one day. I did not find the stuff friendly.

Easy access by tram and walk for 8 minutes, friendly staff, clean room and super quite. Perfect after a long flight.

Heating didn’t work on the 3rd floor and that was not addressed after mentioning it. Nicolas is a night manager and Xhensila is a day manager who I dealt with and were great help over the 5 days we were there.

The property was really good. The only problem I had was the room was a little small. And also there is no provision to decrease AC when it’s Hot outside. The option provided to me was to open the windows to get some cold air.. when it was hot outside

professional and uneventful, except perhaps the 15 min waiting time for checking in which was not the case for the person next to me...

Marriott is my favorite because I can use my credit card points to stay there and it is very consistent so I always know what I’m getting.

The Area is nice, and conveniently located to center of City and airport. Would like if the rooms had a couple of cups, not just disposable ones. Breakfast was good.

My overall stat was good. There was a mixup with the Parking. I paid for parking but because they didn’t really make it clear for me on exactly where the spot was, I parked in free parking of another business. They said they still had to charge me because I reserved the hot spot even though they didn’t make it clear on where to park. Breakfast was amazing. The location was amazing. The hotel was very clean. And the train station was only a five minute walk.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room, which was clearly mentioned on the reservation, yet when I arrived I was given a room with a bathroom in which there was no room to swing a cat, let alone use the toilet or shower/ bath. The hotel advised they had 6 disabled access rooms, but that they were all taken. I made my booking in good time, and Expedia who is in charge of the booking needs to create fields on the room selection page specifically for ‘accessible rooms’ to ensure it is brought to the hotel’s attention. Despite my request being as clear as day on my booking, the courtyard in Zürich simply overlooked or omitted any correlation between my request for an accessible room and the fact they had none available. Had they done this, I would have been advised and been given the opportunity to book elsewhere and get a room which met my basic needs. There is nothing wrong with this hotel, quite the contrary, however an administrative mistake has not only cost me the night at this expensive hotel, but also meant I only had a bed and a sink. No shower or wc. I think I deserve a partial or complete refund for this stay. Originally I was going to be staying two nights but had to change it to one - thank goodness for that. Staff were professional and understanding about the issue, but couldn’t do anything as I had booked via hotels/ Expedia. Who do I contact who do I speak to to help me get at least a partial refund as the error wasn’t mine?
