Very nice hotel and would certainly stay there again. Staff very courteous and room was spotless. Excellent location, literally across the road from the city centre.

Very pleasant stay after spending an evening at a show.

Fast check in, room could do with a little TLC the room looked tired.we were given an adjoining room , the people next door were extremely loud Lifts were an issue, due to children playing with the buttons Breakfast was lovely but we were not on the list, so a phone call was made to reception. A little embarrassed having to wait for the confirmation!!

Excellent service from the staff and the breakfast buffet had the largest selection I’ve seen.

Overall a good hotel in an excellent position for central Cardiff. However the decor in places was tired and dark. Some minor errors made by staff on arrival. Breakfast food was satisfactory but not hot enough. Background music often not appropriate for time / occasion and often too loud.

The hotel is comfortable and well located. We stayed in a suite (top floor) for 2 nights. There was a fire alarm first night which meant a long decent down the nearest fire exit. Whilst this was certainly not the fault of the hotel, clearer communication would have been useful. The decent we took (from room 2104) meant we left the hotel via a side exit - An arrow on the wall lead us out onto a main road with no obvious signage as to where to go - A clear sign stating the location of the fire assembly point would have been useful. When re-entering the hotel and approaching a staff member for information, we were met with a raised hand indicating they would nt answer our questions. We found this rude and unhelpful. If the staff member was busy (likely) then a simple "I will be back in a moment" response would have been far more helpful. The second night, one of the TVs (two in the room - one bedside and one in seating area) failed to work properly and we were not able to to use it to watch TV (in bed). This was also disappointing. After the first night we had a good breakfast the following morning and returned to our room to freshen up. We left the room at 11.30am and placed a card on the door for the room to be serviced. When we returned at 4.15 this had not been done - again, very disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The rooms have a bath and overhead shower. We were aware of this prior to booking. It was disappointing that a bath mat wasn't provided as standard.

Certain areas starting to look scruffy but hey it’s 4 star so no problem.

very hood. comfortable bed. Very good selection of breakfast for meat eaters and vegetarian, but minimal for vegan. Vegan sausages was provided on request at breakfast. no vegan cheese at the deli counter. no vegan pastries. a bit disappointed. my little one absolutely love the smoothies.

Quiet but service was poor Not alot of staff available for any issues And attention n attitude on some staff was not appropriate

Hotel was lovely, staff members were great, the staff member Liam went above and beyond, when we had an issue with our room he changed our room no problem and was really helpful and accommodating, will definitely be staying again
