How to activate Points? How long is the active period for my Points?

Before usage, Points has to be activated first.There are several conditions to activate each Points type and where to get them, as follows:



  • Priority Points: Points earned from transactions, will be treated as Pending Points at first and will become active 7 days after your booking is completed (used/consumed). Pending Points won't be counted in your Total Points and are not redeemable yet.
  • Basic Points: from partner program, cashback and loyalty conversion, active immediately


Each Points type has its own active period, as follows:



  • Priority Points: 1 year after the Points activated
  • Basic Points: 3 Months to 1 year after the Points activated


What should I do if my Points are lost?

There are several reasons why your Points are lost, as follows:

  • Error in the booking process.
  • Payment not Verified, and booking status not verified. Please expect a refund for a maximum of 1x24 hours. However, if the refund has not been received even after 1 x 24 hours, please contact our Customer Service.
  • Payment verified, and booking status not verified. Please contact Customer Service to request a refund.
  • Expired. Each Points type has its own active period, please visit Points Page to see your active Points detail.
  • Other reasons. Please contact our Customer Service to get help regarding this issue.

Are there any particular limitations and/or special conditions when redeeming Points?

There are several conditions that must be met to redeem each type of Points in transaction (Payment Page), as follows:

  1. Priority Points: have no minimum amount for Basic and Priority Points to enable redemption, but upon redemption it will affect your Priority Tier level.
  2. Basic Points: have no minimum amount for Basic and Priority Points to enable redemption

How do I earn Points? Are there any particular conditions for earning the Points?

Each Points type has its own way of earning, as follows:




  1. Priority Points: complete either Flight, Hotel, and/or Xperience (excluding Movies) transaction via the Traveloka desktop website or Traveloka App on Android or iOS. It will be treated as Pending Points at first and will become active 7 days after your booking is completed (used/consumed). Pending Points won't be counted in your Total Points and are not redeemable yet.
  2. Basic Points: from cashback coupons, bonuses, partnerships, and conversions from other loyalty programs. This Points will be active immediately upon earning.


Where can I check my current Points? Can I also check the Points' usage and earning details too?

Traveloka App:

There are 2 ways to go to check your Points detail, as follows:

  1. Login to your account -> Go to your Homepage -> tap Points in the top left corner of your screen -> after being redirected to the Points Page, tap See All Points Activity -> choose the Current Points tab to check your active Points details or select the Points History tab to check the usage/earning details
  2. Login to your account -> Go to My Account -> scroll down to My Rewards section -> tap your current Points menu -> after being redirected to the Points Page, tap See All Points Activity -> choose the Current Points tab to check your active Points details or select the Points History tab to check the usage/earning details.


Traveloka Web Mobile:

Login to your account -> Go to your Homepage -> Go to My Account -> scroll down to My Rewards section -> tap your current Points menu after being redirected to the Points Page, tap See All Points Activity -> choose the Current Points tab to check your active Points details or select the Points History tab to check the usage/earning details.


Traveloka Web Desktop:

Login to your account -> click your account profile (with your name displayed on it) on the right corner of your screen -> click My Points -> click the Points History link in the Points detail card to check the usage/earning details.

What can I use my Points for? How to use it?

There are several things you can use Points for:


  1. Redeem it to get an immediate price cut when transacting in Traveloka App or Traveloka Web (Desktop/Mobile). Just use your Points to get a price cut by using them on the Payment Page.
  2. For Priority Points, your total Priority Points will reflect on your tier progression. The higher your tier is, the more perks & rewards you can unlock.


What can I do when I am unable to redeem my Points?

Please be advised if you are unable to redeem your Points, it is probably due to:


  1. The minimum threshold to enable redemption hasn't been met yet;
  2. The Traveloka product service has not supported Points earning or redemption yet;
  3. System error.

In case of a system error, please contact our Customer Service to get help.

Can I refund my Points?

Please be informed that if your booking is refundable, then you can get a refund in the form of Points. But if your booking is non-refundable, then the redeemed Points cannot be returned back to you.


However, the refunded Points will still be affected by their expiration date. Meaning, if your Points are refunded past their expiration date, then the Points will be expired upon injection. You can check Points History if this happens.
