Loved the spa and staff and amazing room!

The property is located in very quiet and safe area. The view is beautiful! As everyone already knows, the building is under renovation and the room is pretty old. It smells like water in the ditch and changed the room.

It was fun to experience old-fashioned bougie Sweden. Beautiful views of the water. Excellent food at traditional full Swedish breakfast. Antique interiors with high ceilings. And antique Swedes as guests. We did one spa day and it was quite basic sauna, hot tub, pool. The local area was beautiful. There are renovating the hotel so some areas are a construction zone and you need to overlook that.

Although the property was under renovation, it was still an incredible experience staying there. The renovation activities weren’t bothersome at all. And the area was absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxing walks to dinner, etc.

The hotel is very old and not well maintained. It is under renovation and they had partially started with the room I was given. Quite a poor experience. Thankfully I only stayed one night.

Nice old building

Beautiful location on the water and excellent breakfast buffet.

Nice hotel in a stunning location but could do with some refurbishment in certain areas.

Som vanligt mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående reception, dock trist att internet på rummet inte funkade och att Franska matsalen var stängd för middag. Fint renoverat rum med sjöutsikt -över förväntan!

Hotellet är under en stor renovering och utbyggnad, men var pausad nu då det var inga problem för oss. Bra frukost och skaplig mat i paviljongen som fungerade som matsal under sommaren. Fina rum med underbar utsikt över viken. Hotellet är mycket värt ett besök.

Beautiful hotel and area, unfortunately there was ongoing renovation. No wifi in our room. Spa in bad shape but will be renovated.

Vistelsen var bra men renoveringen skapar

Det här är den gamla sortens lyxhotell. Det märks genom möbler med intarsia, marmortvätt och stor garderob etc. Knut Agaton Wallenberg som inspirerats av hotellen på franska rivieran invigde hotellet 1893 tillsammans med sin hustru Alice. De krävde kvalitet i minsta detalj vilket märks än idag.
