An unhappy experience. When we arrived at our hotel we were told it was closed due to a "technical problem" and that we were booked in a different hotel. While the other hotel was very well situated, it was tired looking, no wi-fi in the rooms, and we had the worst room in the hotel, looking out on a service courtyard instead of a sea view. Heating rails in the bathroom did not work. No window or extractor fan in the bathroom either.

I had a one night stop over here on arriving from the airport. Very good value, quiet, lean, no complaints. Eating places nearby.

Good location. Clean room. Fridge with space for bottles of 2L (I've never seen any frigobar in any hotel in that compact format with that option). We got room on 2nd floor with not so interesting view. Bed was really hard with pillows too soft. (After complaining, receptionist gave us other, much better pillows.) Showerhead holder was broken and they didn't fix it during our days, I had to try to fix it temporarily with some tape or gum. Toilet seat was also broken, with a sharp edged crack causing wounds easily. Wifi was weak in our room. Breakfast was very basic, poor and every day the same. It is on the rooftop, with a terrace with a nice view.

We did not arrive until gone midnight but the gentleman on reception was very welcoming and pleasant. The location is near the station and ideal for catching a train to Lecce or a bus to the airport. The room was clean and adequate for a short stay. The breakfast was fair except no bacon, only sausages. This was our second visit to this hotel and is good value for its lower price We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent breakfast and location. The only complaint i had would be the very hard mattress and pillows which were past their best. However this is a personal choice, i would still recommended to others.

I had a brief visit to Brindisi and am happy to have chosen this hotel which was a short walking distance from the train station, the old town, and the waterfront promenade. The hotel is an older 3-star property with traditional furnishings. The room was spacious and clean, with large closet space and a large modern bathroom en suite with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Fast wi-fi. I did not require air conditioning so don't know iff or how well it works. I opened the room windows. When they were shut at night, there was no street noise that interfered with sleeping. Breakfast is on the top, 7th floor, requiring a walk up a short flight of stairs from the elevator which only reaches the 6th floor. The small breakfast room had a good number of tables and several tables were also located outside on the plain terrace. The breakfast itself was excellent with many choices of good quality. The hotel is not fancy but was, perhaps, the favorite of my trip and I do not hesitate to recommend.

Very close to harbour and historic centre, so short walks were needed only. Very helpful staff, even without asking produced street map and explained many details, even the bus times and route to/from airport (which has a bus stop on the other side of the street when going to the airport, so even more convenient). Only small-ish nuisance was that aircon didn't work at all, so opening window helped on sunny days in the evening.

The internet was ridiculously slow. First Room they put us in the safe was broken, room was stuffy, the air con didn’t work because it’s not actually air con it’s centrally controlled and they wouldn’t turn it on. They put us in another room so on the plus side the bed was comfortable, the breakfast on the rooftop was good. The shower was so tiny and the shower head moved around and sprayed everywhere, it was ridiculous. Staff weren’tvery helpful, conflicting time of departure, one staff member said 11 am, paperwork said 12 noon. So all in all I wouldn’t want to be paying very much for this place as it didn’t live up to its advertising. So it was like being in a faulty towers scenario.

I had a week at the Colunna and it was a great experience. The location is perfect. It is a 10 minute walk to the port. There are all kinds of shops and services, including 3 grocery stores, all in the vicinity. It's on a bus route too as well as being 10 minutes away from the train station. Location is fantastic! The hotel itself is comfortable, rooms are nice sized, the bed was very comfortable and housekeeping was top notch. Breakfast is served in the roof top restaurant which offers a great view and an outdoor terrace when the weather is fine. The food was great and the made-to-order coffee fantastic! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I could NOT recommend this hotel MORE!!!

The hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance of the harbor and many nice restaurants. Brindisi has a beautiful port and is a gateway to many activities in the region.
