Perfect place to enjoy holiday with kids, and you can meet koala!Fenny
It was a good place to bring children in Melbourne. The zoo isn't too big but just right. We spent around 4 hours there. There isn't any shows like safari but quite a no of animals inside to enjoy. A little bit of regret was there was only 1 koala n we could only see her from afar. The kangaroos were pretty far too so my child was a bit disappointed as she was hopin to get a closer look.Yunita H.
If you're traveling with kids this is the place to go. Don't miss the butterfly house where you can stand still and wait the butterflies landing on you. The place is easily accessible by public transport too. Allow yourself at least 3 hours in the zoo. When exchanging vouchers at the counter, the staff seemed confused as she never heard of Traveloka before. However this was not a major issue as it was dealt promptly by the staff.Indra N. G.
Melbourne Zoo is one of Australia's best known zoos, and a must visit if you're in town. Formally known as the Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens, the zoo spans over an area of 22 hectares, with over 320 species to see. Despite its proximity to the city center, the zoo still manages to make visitors feel like they're in the middle of lush Asian and African rain forests, where animals roam free. Here, you can see the majestic king of the jungle at Lion Gorge, or marvel at the sheer cuteness of koalas, penguins, and Australian fur seals. You can also come to daily talks featuring animals like the orangutan, giant tortoise, elephants, and more!
