Had a memorable stay here in Janur Bungalow! Upon arrival, there was a welcoming signage with my name written on it. Already impressed at the first sight! The owner, to which I call him as Mas Bobby, greeted us personally. We had a chit chat, got to know each other, and talked about a lot of stuff. The welcoming drink was also nice. After the chit chat, he showed me the room and it was very cool. I was staying in a standard bungalow and size-wise, it wasn't very spacious but it was indeed comfortable with an aircon, a hot-cold bathroom taps, and a beach swing. Should you want to travel with kids, I suggest you to stay in a premium bungalow instead (heard they have a bathtub too!). There was a small pool right outside my bungalow and Mas Bobby said the pool was equipped with a hydro cosmo machine to filter the water, so it was basically free from any chemical substances. I was not surprised because this bungalow adopts sustainability as its core concept. So the straw was stainless, the soaps are all handmade and free from chemical substances, hence the hydro cosmo pool. Mas Bobby was very nice, he always showed me little nice gesture like giving me local body scrub that smelt really nice. The place itself is a bit secluded from its neighbors so you might have to consider ordering some food from GO-FOOD. But since it is quite secluded, you could hear a noise coming from crickets at night, something you wouldnt hear in Jakarta :) The breakfast was also nice, I had pancakes, fruits, tea, and some local traditional food from Pasar (traditional Indonesian market). Very, very recommended for you who are looking for a secluded place, away from the city's noise.
