Banyuwangi is the largest regency in East Java Province and as well in Java Island, with a total area of 5,782,50 square kilometers. Malang Railway Station is more known as Malang Kotabaru Station. That name is given to make it different from the older station, Malang Kotalama Station. Moreover, local people in Malang also frequently called it as Klojen Station, because it is located in Trunojoyo Road, Klojen District, Malang Regency. The station is situated right in the heart of the city, precisely close to Tugu Monument, the icon of Malang City.
