Kramat Djati was founded by Arief Budiman in 1968. This bus company was initially known as Sumber Djaja, a freight service company serving routes within the city of Bandung, West Java. In its development, this company became Kramat Djati. In 1970, Kramat Djati began to expand its intercity and interprovincial (AKAP) bus service. Using only one unit of economy class bus, this bus company introduced a new route to Jakarta. To further expand its service area, Kramat Djati grew its fleet and opened a route to Merak. In 1986, Kramat Djati introduced an express night bus that served several cities in Central Java, West Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta. Four years later, a service to Bali was launched to answer the demand for a safe and convenient land transportation. Kramat Djati continued to reach several milestones in the 1990s. In 1995, this bus operator transitioned into PT Kramat Djati Asri Sejati. Since the change, Kramat Djati continued to expand its services to reach several areas in Sumatra, such as Lampung, Palembang, Pekanbaru, and Bengkulu. In addition, Kramat Djati also expanded its service to reach East Indonesia by launching the Bandung–Mataram route in 2000. To date, Kramat Djati has been serving more than 70 intercity and interprovincial (AKAP) routes covering several cities in Java, Bali, Madura, Nusa Tenggara, and Sumatra. Children sitting on the parent's lap can ride the bus for free. However, children must buy a full price ticket if they need an individual seat.
Same-day booking is not allowed.
Ticket is only valid for the date and time as written in the ticket.
Maximum baggage is 10 kg. Otherwise, passenger will have to pay an extra charge.
Passengers carrying electronic items such as TV and computers will have to pay an extra charge.
Animals are not allowed in the bus.
Passengers are not allowed to carry illegal drugs.
Passengers are solely responsible for their belongings. Kramat Djati Bandung will not be responsible for any damage or loss of personal items.
Passengers must keep the bus clean and orderly.
The bus staff has the authority to change the passenger's seat number in critical situations.
Passenger failing to arrive at the boarding point on time cannot ask for a refund.
Departure time, bus type, and bus route can change without prior notice due to operational reasons.
If the bus is canceled due to mechanical failure and no other bus is available, the passengers will get a full refund.
Ticket price already includes Jasa Raharja insurance premium. Therefore, accident claims must be submitted directly to Jasa Raharja.
Any claims made by passengers, such as a claim for bus delay or accidents, cannot amount more than the ticket price.
If the bus experiences accidents, Kramat Djati Bandung will not be responsible for passengers without an official ticket.
