at Marina Shores

This accommodation is absolutely stunning. The view is so amazing and everything is great except for one thing. On our first day, as soon as we entered the room, we noticed an intense smell. We were told by concierge that it may be the common musty smell that they have in Queensland and that it’s normal because they had a lot of rain. The next day, she said she just remembered that the unit had just been painted so that’s what’s maybe causing the smell and that it’s normal. The smell dramatically reduced the next day since we’ve left the windows open, but it was a little bit too late b ‘cause the smell on the first day already caused us some breathing issues and we got a cold as well. I guess they don’t always paint the room and this is a one off issue but I recommend that if you smell a really strong odour, just insist to be moved to another room especially if you are very sensitive to smell.

Lots of space. Quiet area. Did not have paper towels or Kleenex.

Amazing stay

I loved it. The view was amazing. There were two balconies to enjoy the sunset from. The apartment was stunning.

We loved the quiet location of the resort with easy access to the heart of Airlie. Our room had an incredible view over the ocean and was large for the family. The beds were very comfortable. The resorts gardens were well maintained. The pool was a great for families and loved the addition of the shade over it!

Very high standard property. Lovely staff. Nothing to much trouble. Apartment was equipped with everything you may need and more.

One of the best apartments we’ve ever stayed in with the most amazing views of the marina! Inside the apartment was clean, modern and just perfect! Kids absolutely loved the pool as well!

Great facilities but the rooms are tired and dated. Second bathroom is also extremely cramped but overall a good stay

Staffs are great

A bit out of town, unless you're a walker, but the local taxi service is really fast if you book thru the app. Marina Shores itself was a prefect accommodation for us, plenty of space with great views would stay there again.

Loved our stay at marina shores, the only thing i could fault was the glowing blue of the light switches in the bedroom it felt like we had night lights on but all in all a fantastic stay

We loved our stay at Marina shores, great location,plenty of parking and easy walk into town, reception staff were friendly and welcoming helping book our island tour, highly recommend

The property felt like home for our short stay. So close to everything we needed, beds were the best we have had in all of Queensland. Drawbacks - the noise from the street was more than expected and the internet was very poor. Sadly I couldn’t work or stream videos in the evening. Overall, a great place and some back again.
