Lovely hotel and convenient for a walk into town. Warm reception by staff and cute bars available. It’s a shame about the fact the pool and spa area has been out of action for months now and still looks in same state as it was when stayed here 4 months ago.
However decor great/ average to good restaurant ( waited for meal for ages then both starters and main came almost on top of each other- would have preferred to wait in between courses). However all in all I would stay here again

Need a trolley to transport luggage. Very difficult to carry. Thankful that our room was changed to ground floor but a trolley would have been helpful.
Hard to get luggage out of the car over a brick wall when parking is rear to kerb.

the property has a lovely ambience. excellent bar with great snacks and wines. However the noise when it was time to sleep was ridiculous. phone calls to reception and after hours numbers were ignored I would not recommend this establishment if rest is on your agenda.

The restaurant is very good. We ate there two nights.
Great gin and whiskey bars and with the open fire you can settle in for a few hours and relax.

This was my second stay at the Berida. I was put into a splendid room and this time around I got to experience the gin bar and excellent and very knowledgeable gin service by Baxter!
